No mention of the OTHER employee.

THAT'S WHY she was fired !!

For being the ONLY employee!!

This has NOTHING to do with the attempted robbery.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the Manager being there all ALONE !!!

You actually WATCHED those? LOL
SHE could have seen who was at the door just as well. We have a difference of opinion, and always will. But I'm quitting here, because I don't want you to have a stroke.(NOT ON MY WATCH!)I won't spar with you again. I didn't know you'd get that upset. Have a beer. It'll be alright. Deeeeep breath. Better?
you are very wise to stop because , if she saw who was at the door and she is closed... then she lets them in ?????

and you have to read and understand , I said you make as much sense as those movies , BUT aha BUT no where did I say I watched those senseless fantasies

suck it up .....

She would have been fired for being the only employee in the place!

Lose/lose situation! Do they have a rule for that?

Arby's Rules

A. Emergency Instructions

I. In case of robbery, in the event your co worker is killed, drag them outside to the parking lot. Make sure there is never, under any circumstances, a lone employee in the building. This can result in the immediate termination of your employment.

That is about like the church where a meeting I attended was held. As I went to get the podium to use for the meeting, I noticed the nursery policy sign outside the nursery door. It said that there had to be at least 2 adults in there at all times in which there were children in there and if by chance one had to leave, the other would stand right outside the door.

No it wasn't as the podium was in the hallway. I never went in that room. I may be spotted, but not that spotted. ;-)

Sarcasm. She was fired for leaving. After 23 years working there, Arby's expected her to stay in the building during her 3rd robbery. 23 years of loyalty got her no respect from the company that night. She must have been too close to retirement and a pension. Fire her! Off with her head!
I donít think we have all the info here.

Management wouldn't fire an employee for escaping from a robbery. That would be corporate suicide, and a money fest for lawyers. She was fired for other reasons.

There are several coincidences here;

- This was her forth robbery involvement over a span of a few months.
- She was alone, again, during the robbery (but not supposed to have been Ė for some reason she released a second employee before closing, against company policy).
- She buzzed in a stranger, without checking who (also against corporate policy), after business hours, alone in the store, and I repeat, after 3 previously recent robberies. You'd think she would have learned by now, or at least be a bit more paranoid being alone in the store after hours.
- Since she escaped, more than likely she would 'not be able to identify' the intruder.

Yeah, I think Arby's management may know a bit more than we do about the circumstances.

The stories are always quite vague on this site. I always say, "Nothing surprises me anymore." Then guess what? I'll go with your explanation, though. It makes the most sense.

She's a coward and deserves to be fired Tared and feathered. She left her crew and her customers to the wolves. Anyone that would stick up for this piece for river trash is as dumb and spineless as her. I stand by my company's choice.

It's pretty common in the fast food industry that employees are involved in the robbery plot. They finally get caught an move on to the next franchise. She seems to be an obvious suspect.
