Blue, that's a 'rather' general statement. If 'we' did we'd be back the next day rebuilding it with
"US" tax dollars while our economy crumbles.

So we're now sending military arms through foreign countries to aid militants that are Islamic terrorists.
Does that make it better?
And jets & tanks to Egypt so they can destroy what we've already built, everything is just
hunky-dory!

What we do in the Middle East is now rather moot. Obama has passed US influence there to the Russians.
With the "out" Putin gave him on Syria Obama has moved on. Time to create a new (non)crisis at home to focus on...... Time to get back on script blaming the GOP for everything from the Colorado floods to the N.J fires. If the San Andreas fault were to act up and California became a island Obama would blame the GOP/tea party/Bush.

Irony

: the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really think especially in order to be funny

: a situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected

Full Definition of IRONY

: a pretense of ignorance and of willingness to learn from another assumed in order to make the other's false

“So it's not you, It's them?”

The fringy, polar, extremist CON cabal here is generally oblivious to irony in their own words. So far, I've been unable to confirm whether this is a result of an inherited trait or a learned behavior.*grin*

I was amused when they were making it known that the turning over of weapons would not have happened without the threat of invasion, so as to try to claim responsibility for the development. They will waste no opportunity to spin ANY and EVERY situation to make themselves look good (which is even more amusing in this situation because they were on one hand completely out maneuvered by Russia and on the other hand should be thankful Russia gave them an out from a very political unpopular move, i.e. attacking Syria) and will also waste no opportunity to avoid accountability and instead will spin any negative conduct to blame republicans or Bush.

Hillary's incompetence in Benghazi, well that was ALL Republican's fault (100%)... they didn't give the state department unlimited funds for everything they wanted ... as if that somehow prevented the state department from reshuffling resources amongst the embassies to provide somewhat less protection in secure embassies and more protection to our Ambassador who was located in a highly hostile environment, with many warning signs that bad things were going to happen, and requests for more security from the Ambassador, himself. As if this observation alone regarding funding, justifies the failure to reallocate security resources from say our embassies in Germany, France, Britain, or many other countries that in comparison are 10,000 times more secure than Libya and increase the security in Libya.

The hacks just lap it up too: "yeah, the Obama administration is right, unless you get all the money you want good leadership necessarily involves dousing your ambassador in blood and throwing him to the wolves ... that way there is one less ambassador to protect ... there is no other choice ... no other options ... Hillary 1016!!

By many reports Obama and Putin have had many talks long before the G-2 summit.

I think Kerry purposely put that out there so Putin could jump in.

To me it doesn't matter who's running the ball as long as America scores the touchdown.

Another war is the last thing we need.

The focus should be on our economy but both sides.

I find it hilarious people THINK they know conversations that are behind closed doors between political leaders and then add their own spin to the story they really know nothing about..

Hilarious.....

OF course!!! It was Kerry’s master plan to make Russia and Putin look like the level headed ones and us look like the war monger meat heads.
If this administration wanted that to be on the table, it would have been on the table all along … not made in some passing remark. Obama, being a good leader would have forcefully said either we will:

A) attack and by that I don’t mean, we will attack, but we don’t really want to be big meanies and hurt them or punish them … so we are planning on doing really wimpy insignificant attacks … we don’t want to upset anyone or really do anything effective … just little insignificant attacks … which is what we were doing

B) or Assad will turn over all chemical weapons.

I wouldn’t liken it to a touch down … I would liken it to the opposing team in hockey scoring on its own net. Even that is not appropriate, because Russia comes out ahead on this deal too. It’s actually the sane level headed thing to do … too bad we weren’t the ones who advanced it in the first place. Thank goodness for Putin, and I never thought I would ever say that.

First good afternoon Sublime..

I don't care if Dennis Rodmen worked out the deal as long as we don't get into another war..

Should Assad be punished, hell yes he should but not by us alone.
Time will tell if he is going to do what he says if not then thats another conversation.

We can't keep being the World Police. As terrible as it is that all those innocent people have been killed someone over there needs to try and keep the peace and stop the madness...

Ohio Cowgirl, somehow I get the impression Sublime1 doesn't agree with you.
I'm surprised he didn't mention your previous statement..." add their own spin to the story "
remark.
I only give people I like a hard time.

For some reason I keep picking up on these comments you make, for instance " keep the peace and stop the madness... ".
That's going to be instrumental in the next few days in congress.
Care to speculate?

Sublime never agrees with me but thats ok we both have our opinions. Doesn't make him right and doesn't make me wrong. We're just different.

Speculate on Congress?? lol

Both parties have an agenda, we both know that. I'm sure it will be balls to the wall at first on both sides and then a deal or since this Congress has been in session a half azzed deal..I'm sure it's vacation time for them again, they've only had 25 this year..:)

Then they will rest and try to get rid of Obamacare for the 43 time and replace it with Republicare. Have you heard about that yet?? lmao!!! Thats the bend over oh sorry I forgot the vasoline version of Obamacare...

Aw that was nice. Good afternoon to you too.:)

I don't think we even know who used those weapons. I don't know why Assad would have used them on such a small scale, given the likely repercussions. They also seem to have the upper hand right now in the conflict.

I agree with what you say too.
