How about we do what others countries do?

We stay out of it officially......but then sneakily aide and supply the side we want to win. We can give them money, bullets, bombs, intelligence, etc......

But no no no, we are not in this war!!!!!

I am also curious about that. My understanding is the group that went in was simply there to verify it happened not who did it.

If it was Assad why not thousands dead?

Easiest why to upset people is to kill children and I absolutely think there more than few there that would have no problem sacrificing children for their cause.

1 of the reasons for that statement was at least the representatives of the people were able to voice their opinion,
it wasn't done Obama 'style'.

IMHO - it's a ...mistake... don't do it!
If there is enough opposition Assad will be defeated, but it must come from the people of that country.
Same as would be in this country if it ever came to it. No help from Mexico, Canada, or Alaska.LOL

After doing some reading on this I see no other choice.

But not for America alone. Where is Canada, Au, Europe??
WTF is going on w/the UN? Other than they are stalling.
Wanting to wait.

While the world waits ppl (innocent civilians more importantly Unarmed civilians) are dying. Badly. Inmass.

1,429 that we Know of. 429 of which are children.
Watch the video coming out of Syria right now. It's
brutal and sad.

Of course I don't think we should Ever put
troops on the ground any where in that area.

Ever again.

Bomb the shit out of them and if we need ppl
'on the ground' to do a specific job send in
small teams of special forces.

The only civil thing to do is back off and let "whatever will be". This isn't our war
and they are not attacking "US". So where did
"WE" get the idea it would be good to attack them?
It's nothing like it's being explained, we've caused more treachery than they ever have, so where's it our place to stop them?

The UN is dictated by China, Russia and Oil rich countries of the middle east so wouldn't expect any viable cooperation fro them. Canada and Great Britain don't consider this as a direct threat towardsthem.and are acting according to their version of our constitution, as should the US.
From what I've seen we're not even sure who's responsible and like a poster mentioned above what better way to draw the US into it than kill a bunch of innocent's, the Assad regime has the power and resources to squash this uprising without using chemical weapons so why would they? Why would the Assad regime want to draw us into that conflict?
I remember not so many years ago when we invaded Iraq on rumors of WMDs and pretty much leveled the country on those assumptions yet not one WMD was ever found.
And realistically how does one go about destroying stockpiles of chemical weapons with bombs and not wreak havoc on the area?
And let's not forget the problems this would create with our only ally inthe area, Israelians are lining up.for gas masks.
And I bet if we do strike we won't hit any targets of real significance.

Guess what I'm.saying is the US needs to think this thru very closely and not get sucked into another Iraq situation.

And yes I agree, it was a horrible and brutal thing to do whoever is responsible.

Exactly what was I was thinking, but couldn't put it into words as good as this.

We must not jump the gun on this one, as so to speak.
