I get vehement when I see these films of people living and behaving like wild animals. In 2013! Civilization seems to be going backwards. The babies in the NK film...digging in the mud.
Starving while that fat little ---- shakes his pecker in a threat to the rest of the world. That upset me too...
Now I'm off again... needs to go take my BP medicine.. Thank you for your genteel and civilized reminder. It is appreciated.:) <3
I remember a quote, can't remember who it was, I think it was Andrew Carnegie,... he said "you can't make someone climb a ladder, they can only make themselves do it" ...

In other words, the word cannot force the third world and the religious devotees to become what we want them to become ...

And furthermore, is it our right to try to force them? Or our obligation? is it up to us to decide for them what is best for them?

Yet I do understand that those religions differences are part of the problem that create the divides that exist around the world. Mohammend created Islam, partly, in order to get all the peoel in the middle east following the same religion, so that they would stop fighting each other over religious differences and become united.

USA industry should not lose anything finiancially by not spending on the war machine ...

Let's see .. more MRI machines in hospitals, more staff in hospitals, improve the educational system ... etc etc ...

Of course, Congress must vote to make those changes.

There were no weapons of mass destruction no matter what some TV producer puts on the airwaves for ratings sake.

good comparison , you only need a hand to open a valve, not an army .... it is the gas in question not the users
That doesn't mean they are even close to the threat to world peace that Germany was. Even if they are gassing their own people, it's a stretch to assume they will start invading and attacking other countries or gassing them. It's actually completely illogical to make that leap.

Germany took on the Soviets, the UK, the U.S., France (4 of the biggest world powers at the time) and almost won and possibly would have won had Hitler not stopped all advanced weapons projects at the start of the war and most certainly had he not invaded the Soviet Union. Comparing Germany to Syria is like comparing Luxemburg to the U.S.

I wonder how the Nazi hunters feel about the apartheid like state of Israel...

See there....let's just say, we use all those missiles and bombs, that have reached their, use-by dates....cull the herd of armnaments.....we aren't a people that can look the other way, on something like this....never have been.....then, in the next general election, a major issue is my desire to really pare down our monstrous defense spending.....

I wouldn't be surprised if there are still a lot left, buried in the desert. After all,we killed a lot of Iraqis during the war, before Saddam fled, and the people that buried them could have been killed with no marker as to where. Iraq is about the size of Texas. THATS a lot of san to sift to find weapons that take up little space. Just because you don't find them don't mean they are not there. Then there IS the Syria connection you mention. Saddam's Baath Party WAS very politically close/similar to Assad's Gov't.

My opinion would be no because nothing is going to be accomplished by the US getting involved. Here we are trying to defend Afghanistan, Iraq and now Syria? I would say NO.

The sad fact is the rest of the world doesn't give a sh1t enough to back our play or participate. After 12 years of war we're tired. After 50 years of being the world's policeman we're SICK and tired. We've had very little help over the decades. Time to take a vaca. Call Motel 6......
