first time in my life that I can honestly say that I could fight for either side on this one.... I could support Zimmerman for his right to protect himself.. and yet can support Martin's right to walk home via the path he chose... this case calls out to each of us.. to come to grips with why we make the call the way we do... do we have the right to defend and also choose the path we would take? The answer is the same....

Interesting point. Especially considering he didn't live in Sanford.

I wasn't talking about Trayvon smoking pot or any of that.
My point was that more people now own guns and carry. The world is such that innocent people have been killed over a watch or cash. Now these innocents are picking up guns and yes, defending themselves from those who would rob them. And it's all easy to call Zimmerman spineless when you are not in that position.
If there was a neighborhood watch in place, the people of the neighborhood knew it. They had reasons for this I would assume. Maybe Trayvons family or friends should have given him a heads up about creeping around like that.
I'm just as upset about a youth losing his life and I'm sad for the other for never having one to look forward too. The whole thing was an unfortunate accident and we will see more of these if people don't take some charge of their teens .... wise up people, this isn't the 70's. Kids can't roam the streets like that any more. You never know when someone is a "Zimmerman".
"And it's all easy to call Zimmerman spineless when you are not in that position."

geogie was instructed by 911 to not follow Trayvon and wait for law enforcement. georgie put himself in THAT 'position' with a 9 mm tucked in his waistband. The whole incident, until georgie killed Trayvon, was a non-emergency. georgie was told cops were on their way...even where to meet them when they arrived. georgie was another set of eyes and ears for his 'hood' that is all he was...georgie took the law into his own hands...continued following Trayvon, exited his vehicle, Trayvon didn't drag him out, now did he? georgie CALLED 911 to report a suspicious person...however, Not following 911's instruction, not waiting for law enforcement, exiting his vehicle, carrying a loaded 9 mm...spineless georgie put a bullet through unarmed Trayvon Martins heart.

btw dumb and beautiful...this was not an unfortunate accident...georgie deliberately pulled the trigger on his 9 mm and killed Trayvon.

No they called the circumstances, how Trayvon punched George in the face and then sat on him while continuing to inflict injury, grounds for self defense. And that justified putting a bullet through Trayvon's heart.

He is working overtime :)Just what we needed , more black riots. Just an excuse to steal :( The thug culture again shows it's ugly face. I feel sorry for the good black kids who get drawn into thuggery. Blacks kill 8 times more than whites and they kill other blacks

Now that dumb basturd wants to get rid of "stand your ground" laws! If they do, every member of the Armed Forces should walk off the job. I mean, the government sends them to these god forsaken sh!tholes to defend this nation, then when they get home they're not permitted to defend themselves?

I hope that sorryass POS Holder gets car jacked....

"No they called the circumstances, how Trayvon punched George in the face and then sat on him while continuing to inflict injury,"

The ME found no blood or injuries to Trayvon's hands consistent for your 'How trayvon punch george in and face'

There was only 'minor' injuries to Trayvon's hands and no blood from george zimmerman on them.

How ironic..Trayvon had no blood of George Zimmerman's on his hands and George...well, nevermind.

Yeah...clem...I know the grounds by which the jury voted not guilty just as well as you do.
