George Zimmerman Verdict: Not Guilty

I agree with you Captain, this whole case was politically motivated. And it isn't over yet. Guilty or innocent I'm not sure but the state should have pursued this charges based on the evidence the presented, heck at times it seemed the state was presenting evidence for the defense. If I were George I'd be doing some research on suing the great state of Florida's justice system along with a couple slanderous media outlets.

JMO folks.

You know more about the law than I but wouldn't it be malice if the prosecutor with held evidence from the judge in the early phases of the proceedings..ie; pictures of the broken nose and lacerations to the head?
Just curious..

After a felony case is referred to the District Attorney's office, it is presented to a grand jury.

If the grand jury indicts the case it is then assigned to an assistant criminal district attorney

the DA office will investigate and decide what degree of charges are to be pursued

both sides present their depositions to an arraignment court... here is where evidence is hashed out.. trial is put on a docket of a criminal court

See my previous post.
Last time I checked, O.J. only killed white people.
Yes, but blacks killing whites is not a hate crime because we all know that blacks can't be racist.

correct:
placing someone on trial a second time for an offense for which he/she has been previously acquitted, even when new incriminating evidence has been unearthed.
This is specifically prohibited by the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,
This administration isn't real keen on that document. Barry finds it a bit restrictive and flawed.

Not in the Trayvon Martin case.

Good morning M. I assume you're talking about the media and prosecution who tried to make this a racial thing from the start?

It wasn't just the media - the NAACP tried their hardest as well. I didn't follow this case very much because of all the media hype. But from what I saw, it was racial and non-racial. The shooting I don't think was racially motivated - but both sides tried to make it so.

Barry tried to make it racist.
When Zimmerman first called 911 he was not sure what race Treyvon was.

not the grip the position of the blade ...

with the blade pointing back along arm towards elbow and the cutting edge outward from the body...

by throwing a punching motion the cutting edge will slash and by with drawing the arm from the punching motion will allow for stabbing ..... two very dangerous actions in one continuous motion

this minor isn't a SLOUCH.[make that wasn't]
one lived there, one didn't ....he had 42 other chances to shoot some one ..so give it up ,he walked , blame the State of Fla, and the castle law
We'll never know how "slouchy" the minor was, will we? That Castle Doctrine is a legal POS. It gives the shooter too much leeway on when to use a firearm. Bad laws make bad outcomes and the Judicial System has spoken.

It appears George's mall cop wannabe future is now a faded dream. I wouldn't trust the guy to protect an outhouse. He might as well give it up and accept that job offer as a "security expert" on Fox, huh? LOL
