IF a federal charge is made, it's civil rights or hate crime related -- new charges; 're-try' doesn't apply.

AND, Simpson was "shackled" by the result of the Goldmnan/Brown wrongful death suit.

What I think is that if Zimmerman hadn't
confronted him there wouldn't have been any
problem that night.

Takes a lot of hate to decapitate someone with a knife.

Besides, kind of ironic that O.J. has only killed white people.

See my previous post.

Last time I checked, O.J. only killed white people.

Tally..Zimmerman was a volunteer. Volunteers are instructed...usually by their local police department and most likely by the Police Chief..to NOT confront a suspicious person or activity...but to report ANY thing of a suspicious nature to the local police authority. You claim to be an ex-judge. You should now this. Zimmerman assumed Trayvon was up to no good. And armed with a gun, he not only exited his vehicle, he also approached 16 yo Trayvon.. Tally..what for?
"Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer in a gated townhouse community in Sanford, Fla., shot and killed Trayvon on Feb. 26, 2012, as he returned home from buying snacks at a convenience store.."

So knowing that Zimmerman suspected/assumed, a deadly Martin was up to no good.. Why did he not do as instructed, as trained to do, and also as advised by 911..stay in his vehicle and notify law enforcement?
hummmmmmmmm your question is :
[and notify law enforcement?]
then what is the purpose of calling 911 for an ambulance or medical help or a fireman

or could it have been for the police ..they tell everyone not to follow or confront everyone

Not for the same crime, but they can make claim of a different crime. Zimmerman may well be retried and exonerated several times for different charges all the way down to illegal parking before they are done.

Supposedly.

But our current racist Justice Department will charge him with something different.

Because it wouldn't have created a political advantage to do so.
