With any voluntary relationship, I follow my feelings. My feelings are influenced by the person and their characteristics and behaviors. If I like someone, I like them. What's to think about? Do I need to lay awake at night and think about why I like someone? Again, you overanalyze.

<quoted text>You just like most fail to hold women accountable to ANY bad behavior.
I do? Where did I say that? I have no problem telling a woman or a man if I find their behavior unacceptable and why. I also have no problem cutting a man or woman out of my life if I don't care for them or they don't treat me properly. What more do think I should do?

I'm 36. Been married for 13 years. Have had nothing but good relationships with women I've dated and women whose paths have crossed mine platonically, professionally, academically. I have a good relationship with the women in my family too.

<quoted text>Only, in reality, out for your own selfish desires.
What desires? Before I married I dated and if after a few months I didn't feel in love with a girl, I broke up with her. I met my wife, fell in love with her ... She with me ... Eventually we married. I didn't ask anything from her. I've always planned on being successful enough to provide for myself and whoever I was with, such that I wouldn't need anything from anyone.

With all my other relationships with women, I've never asked anything from them.

So I'm not sure what desires you speak of. If you mean sex, uh, I don't need to be in a relationship with a woman just for that ... I get offers for that without being asked for that sort of a commitment. I could walk something suitable out a fair amount of nights I go out with the boys, if that's what I wanted to do and I don't even try. Not bragging ... Just sayin, that couldn't possibly be true in my case. I had girls telling me I was crazy to get married, in fact, cause they think like you.
Praetorian212 wrote:
<quoted text>Not really seeking someone to love.
That makes it easier then. Then you just need someone whose company you enjoy and who you are attracted to. I enjoy the company of looooots of women ... I find a fair amount of women attractive. I dated girls who fit that criteria, but it just wasn't there ... So I broke up with them. That's why if you aren't looking for someone who you love, it should be easier.
Praetorian212 wrote:
<quoted text>Let me ask you this....Is respect earned or not? If it is...then why automatically grant it to women?
You sound like a kid.

I try to treat all individuals I encounter with respect, unless they give me a reason not to. And if someone is not worthy of my respect, most likely I'll just have nothing to do with them.

I found the best woman out there. She's loving, compassionate, hilarious, and looks like she is a twenty year old model. I'm sure I'm going to f++k this up.

You cannot inseminate another woman with your own seed. Only men can do that.

But I still think you are awesome!!!!

Thanks. I think most women would run from that guy.

I could probably do better with chores. I'm not perfect. I work full time and she doesn't work very often (a few days a month)... when she was working full time I was shouldering more of the load and getting the kids up in the morning, fed, dressed, on the bus, fed at night, bathed and in bed, a lot of the times.

There is a commercial I've seen while watching blackhawks games where the guy picks up his socks that makes me laugh my butt off:

I have two hampers in our closet ... one for regular clothes ... one for dry cleaning ... my stuff eventually finds its way to those, even if it is not daily... sometimes I'm good at keeping up with it ... sometimes I let it slide for a few days.

I do a fair amount of dishes and cooking and most of the outdoor stuff/projects/gardening and fixing stuff. Still to be honest, she probably does 70-80% of the stuff it takes to keep the house running and takes the kids to their dr appointments. I don't demand that the house be kept meticulously, tho. I usually help her clean if we have guests coming.

I'm just not home as much as she his ... during the week I don't get home until 6:00-6:30 at night a lot of nights. When I get home, I eat, I work out a fair amount of nights for an hour to an hour and a half and then we usually 800ish and we chill together. She'd rather I spend time with her than clean toilets too.

God made two species. They both need each other. They are nothing on their own. Yes
They can enjoy half the pleasure among themselves but the full pleasure is only with the other species. God created women on this earth to spread the joy of loving. What a creation.
