<quoted text> one thing I believe to be true is that men, for the most part, have always been physically stronger women and woman have taken the part of the weaker sex. Being a homemaker, mother, wife, which by no means is an easier job, but more or less what was expected back in the day. Men have been more domineering and done the more physically demanding jobs because of the simple fact that they are stronger. But times are changing. At one point woman weren't even allowed to vote. They've had to struggle for their rights, to be accepted in a work force that was dominated by men, and to be treated as an equal in today's society. Don't you believe that to an extent this is partly because of men? Their pride? Their unwillingness to allow woman to be a part of a male domineering society?
You asked why don't more woman hold management positions then males.
But the thing to look at is how many do as opposed to what it used to be.
You asked why hasn't there been a female president. But as I said at one time they weren't even allowed to vote, but now we've had at least two who have actually run for president. Which you know would have never been accepted back in the day.
I believe times are changing, woman are changing. They are less willing to take a back seat any more. Less willing to be bullied by men simply because they are the stronger sex. I also believe that we're not far from seeing a female president.
You can't deny the facts about woman may actually be smarter than a man, mature quicker than a man, or have a higher percentage rate of graduating college, or that they've come a long way compared to the way it used to be.
Just some food for thought.
I actually agree with what you posted.....

8-)

My point was the contradiction in the numbers presented and a statement that did not jive with those numbers........and then I added some male chauvanist comments just to stir the pot a bit......

I also think women are MUCH more pleasant to the eye then men are. They win in that category.

Oh, so you're adding to your previous misinforming posting......I see.
You say" We now earn more college degrees, particularly doctorates, than men. And more of us finish college than men. We also have a higher GPA ~~ grade point average ~~ that means we make higher grades than men."
OK, if that is true how does that factor into average wages earned between men and women working at high level positions? Do women make more than men? If not, why?
...and how many females hold high level management positions as opposed to men?(CEO's, CFO's, etc.)
And when will we have a female president? Jeez, we even had a minority male president before a female!!! Why is that?
Don't get me wrong, I love women......they are one of the most beautiful creations God has made. Please remain sweet and innocent!!! We men love you for that!!!
Have a great day!!!
Why is there a wage difference? I'm glad you admit there's discrepancies. The answer is because in the worplace there's beliefs such as yours. But we're fighting against that, not accepting it as our grandmothers did. But as long as the republican party oppose fair pay laws we'll do whatever we can to keep republicans out of the presidency like we have in the last 2 elections.

Whom is this "we" that you speak of?

Is there some sort of movement going on?(Other than social Darwinism)

Are we not all "one"?

Oh....and for the record, just because I state something that is going on in the mainstream DOES NOT make it a belief of my own.

Have a great day toots!!!

Please correct me if I've read you wrong,but.......do I detect some latent, celibate, homosexuality here ? It's of no mind but if you read back over your own posts I think you would get an idea of why you possibly tend to come across as the aforementioned.

You are kind of whiny and you way over analyze sh1t ... so you aren't going to attract quality women.

And by what standard is our culture over-sexualized and perverted? By yours?

Further whatever culture does say about sex, who says you need to follow it in your own relationships?

Well Denny, we as men would have more of OUR own money to spend. In marriages 72 percent of no-fault divorces are filed by....drum roll....women. You know..you burn the toast...she files for divorce. In this case men would, on a large margin, do "without" their children and money for alimony. One additional item altogether looked over in today's culture....intelligence. Between men, intellectual discourse actually occurs and as a result, minds are stimulated and oftentimes grow. With women, where no intelligent discourse occurs, given their lack of abstract thinking, intelligence could reasonably and logically be said to be stagnated or even diminished based on the level of his pus*y worship. The world needs men whereas it doesn't need women, except for the time being, for procreation. Who built the infrastructure, who invented things, who are the great minds of science and abstract thought? Hmmmm....I wonder.
Giant load of steaming, rotting fecal matter.
I pity this fool's mother.

Unbelievable that in 2013 there are still sexist pigs who not only believe this archaic, misogynist garbage, but actually think they know a damned thing about "intelligence, intellectual discourse, or abstract thinking.."

Pray this idiot never reproduces.

I came into this forum attempting to achieve thoughtful discourse. Where have I whined? Cite one example. Here's a question for you, is it better to "over" analyze something or not give it any thought at all? I haven't over analyzed, I attempted to make intelligent discourse regarding the topic. Let's not forget the topic, shall we? You state that I'm not going to be able to attract women...blah...blah... Apparently you haven't read enough to realize that I have ZERO inclination to attract any woman of today's pathetic standards. I'm not a desperate male child.
Where haven’t you whined would be easier to answer…

In terms of overanalyzing … it depends on the nature of the subject. If it’s not complicated, then overanalyzing it is a waste of time.

For example, you have zero inclination to attract any women, yet you blame it on their so called pathetic standards. Has it ever occurred to you that rather than the 3.3 billion women in the world being the problem, it’s likely you who is the problem? No need to overanalyze, IMO. It would be exceptionally unlikely that 3.3 billion people (in this case women, but that matters not) would all be wrong and one person (you) would be right.

At the same time, you are free of course to seek out what you wish. What I take exception to is you disparaging women and blaming them for not living up to your lofty standards.

For me, finding a woman is not complicated or even subject to thoughtful discourse. It’s not subject to thoughtful discourse because it is not subject to logic and reason, such that it can be analyzed in that manner. It comes from the heart and for better or worse, the heart isn’t logical. Now it may be that you love someone, and logic and reason tells you that you must leave them because the circumstance is not healthy or workable, but that doesn’t mean you don’t love them.

My suggestion to you is to find someone you love, if you are capable of that. It’s not easy to find for a lot of folks. It wasn’t easy for me … I don’t fall in love easily or with most women who would have me. That this is the case doesn’t mean that there is some problem with most women or that they are defective, which is the approach you seem to take and an approach I disagree with.

Denial as usual

2: You just like most fail to hold women accountable to ANY bad behavior

This is because you only point out the bad. Your a bully and we're nearly defending them. There are good and bad in everyone, no one here has denied that.

3: I don't know how old you are but if you can't see how women are, for the most part, below garbage level, then you are the typical male today.

Woman are below garbage huh? You make a statement like that knowing you'll stir up a conflict. I say again, your a bully. Here's a simple question, would you tell your mom she was lower than garbage?

4: Only, in reality, out for your own selfish desires. Not really seeking someone to love. In your mind I guess, all criticism that is negative of women is bashing and mean spirited.

No not all criticism that is negative of woman is bashing and mean spirited, but calling them garbage is.

5: Let me ask you this....Is respect earned or not?

This something I believe you'll never know, you've earned no ones respect on this thread.

6: If it is...then why automatically grant it to women?

Saying it is automatically granted to woman is your opinion. Everyone in life has to earn respect whether their male or female.
