I always heard backdoor guests are the best...come to think if it that can be misconstrued... heck with my mind I can misconstrue almost any statement... ;)

Howdy, Trish.

Enjoying mine, so far. Hope you are too.

Watching Hatfield & McCoys now. It's very good for those who haven't seen it.

Hello Sublime, yes I'm enjoying mine and good to hear you are as well. Also I was pleased to hear your Blackhawks won - just two to go now right?

I've seen H & M's, but it's been a time ... ahh, that movie of course. We see the same sort of thing often enough in real world. Haha

Hope you enjoy rest of your weekend.:)

So nice to see you again, it's been a while. I did catch some of your comeback words and ahhhh, explanation for not ... checking in. Lol
Hope you enjoy rest of your weekend.:)
LOL

Things got crazy as they have a tendency to do.

Yep, the shotgun is ready....he's a really sweet
kid tho. Straight A student as well. Can't shoot

Well being a straight A student has got to count for something, but
good to hear you've got him in your scopes, ahhhh so to speak.

I'm doing pretty good, thanks.

In our neck of the woods they had a 100 mile long yard sale and I helped my neighbors with their load. I enjoy meeting and visiting with folks and the weather has been fantastic.

Hope you enjoy rest of your weekend Dear.:)

Sounds fun. Our weather has been a bit schizophrenic. It was cold and cloudy yesterday, very nice today, and now it is storming it's a$$ off out there. But, I'm gonna enjoy my weekend regardless, as I hope you do too.

Still watching it, but I was curious if the love story between Roseanna and Johnse were true. They make it out to be almost like a Romeo and Juliet. It seemed to me she got a real raw deal, was a very sympathetic character, and I couldn't understand why he would not just run off with her if he loved her as much as they portray it in the series

Turns out Johnse was not as they portray him in the series and he was not really in love with her, was taking advantage of her just for sex, and had many women on the side, if you believe this account:

http://appalachianlady.wordpress.com/2012/05/...

By that account, his behavior played a large role in the start of the feud. I think that account also makes it even more tragic from her stand point. It seems she went on to kill herself because she never got over him and lost her child.

That's awful. I didn't know all that. The whole time we were watching it, I kept saying "why doesn't he just run off with her?"
Well, now I know. Thanks, sublime1.

Dang, that's sad. I'd rather talk hockey I think. I went to several Bruins games and then in Florida I went to see the Lightning.

Speaking of movies, I loved that one with Paul Newman and those triplets playing hockey. Remember it?

I've TiVoed it a number of times (they've run the series every so often) and every time I do, by the time I got around to watching it, it's been recorded over. All the episodes are on today, tho. I think the last one is on now and I'm tired, but I can't stop watching them.

I know. There isn't anything that would stop me if I felt that way. My folks would have no choice but to deal. I was thinking maybe he was a momma's boy, but it turns out he was slimy. He kinda looks goofy looking in his picture too.
