Whatever you do; do it for you, and not for someone else. You don't want to go through life feeling like you always have to please others first, or you'll never be happy or content. So I hope that takes the dilemma out of what you want or think you need to accomplish and/or achieve. Personal satisfaction is the way to self fulfillment.
Thank you.:) I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, cuz half of me wants to see what it would be like to be buff, and the other half doesn't want to work that hard, so I decided to let the people decide.:D

Ya know just be yourself..if your dude loves you, he loves you for you, your heart. Sure, we chicks want to look hot for our men, that means excercising and eating the right foods. But,what if you have a medical condition that limits your excercise regime or you can't even excercise? Your man will take this into consideration...ya know not too many men like to wrestle and be beat by their women...they do love to be cuddled, feeling the softness of their chick's flesh.

Even though I'm not a guy, I hope you don't mind me commenting. I personally don't like to see too much muscle on a woman's arms. Madonna is an example of what too much "working out" can do to your appearance. I just don't like the look. But a little isn't bad. We all want round, but slim and soft arms, unfortunately with age or losing weight, they begin to sag. I know my hub personally does not find it appealing for a woman to have muscular arms, but there are probably a lot of men who like it because it demonstrates self confidence and self discipline with trying to stay healthy and fit.
Personally I do it for myself first. I am a woman of 54, and am in awesome shape, good firm legs, ass, abs, and muscled arms,,and I like it,,, yes I have wrinkles also, and some places exercise does not quite fix..but who cares. I am 5ft, and a 100 pounds, of muscle. I know men like it, and see that I go that extra mile to take care of myself. I look and feel great, with my muscles. Wrinkles can be fixed as well...lol! I like it because the guy I am with, has no need to look around, and doesn't. That is one of the bonuses of being in shape.

You will get the herd here pretty soon about my comments. They will try to dispel what I have said. But truth is, 3 years ago I seen me turning into them, middle aged, with a spread,(not big mind you,,after all have always been tiny), not caring, you know the age old excuse..."my hubby loves me as I am",lol! Not acceptable for me..so I joined a gym, got a trainer, now exercise at home. I have got my beautiful small body back, and yes I am pleased, and show it, and brag,,yes I do. Even getting a narcissus flower tattoo...
Oh yeah,,kicked the fat ass lazy old man out as well, he may have had a good job, but he was lazy in all aspects of things men should know how to do.

Ok....personally I don't like the muscular look that has gotten so popular with women lately. Toning is fine, but a woman trying to get muscular is not attractive, to me.

Ya know Billy R, how are ya Dude?? I find that Chicks and Dudes that body build have to be sooooo in looove with themselves when they build their bods up that way.It really grosses me out. Imagine also, that there will NEVER be any of their free time spent on a loved interest, for they have to pump everyday to keep that trimmed bod. Take care Billy R..say hi to Mrs.Billy R.

That makes sense. Yeah, I've heard that, but I don't think I can just be toned without being muscular, unfortunately.:P

People who body build are not into wrestling, or beating anyone up. Yes we love our bodies and ourselves, but have plenty to spare for others...at least I do.
Soft or Fat? Medical reason? If you mean thyroid, that is a slack excuse for obesity, that many use,,, exercise and diet will keep it under control.
|Being fit gives a person a feeling of power, and you know you look good.

No offense.....But you are FAR from being a bodybuilder. There is a vast difference between a lady that does aerobics and light weights to stay in shape(a good thing to do,BTW), and a bodybuilder.

Honestly theres degrees of muscularity. Any fit women will be able to flex a muscle if she wants to. But there are ways to strike a good balance and not go overboard.......
