The years have softened the images, but we need to keep our Troops in our thoughts and bless those who lost their loved ones...there were too many...there ARE still too many.

This Country should be ever diligent, and Never Forget.

My 7-yr-old daughter sang this song as a Veterans Tribute the yr before 9/11 and my son had just become a local fireman when that horrendous day occurred. God bless all that lost loved ones that day and to all those in uniform that serve our country.

I haven't watched these images since the day I watched them live at work in the breakroom that morning. Awful stuff.

I make myself watch what I can, so the memories stay strong. But the images are horrific, makes me feel like I'm dying.

I can relate to that Red! My intuition scares me about the whole business. Hope nothing Bad happens again.

Beautiful song. And it shows the strength and unity of the American ppl.

For all the lives that were taken, we were broken, rest in peace. And for those that served, salute you.

And for the cowards, rot in your caves.

Oh we will forget, just as we will be forgotten. Nothing lasts forever, especially our memory.

While you are getting swelled up with patriotism try to remember how and why we got here.

Oh, man! OS;)!!! Now you got me goin'... got that lump in my throat ... I'll never forget! and the image of the aftermath on that day is forever etched in my 18 y/o niece's mind ... she's been afraid to fly since then ... I have to fly to get her, bring her down here, and fly her back ... quite a tryin' time but I can understand her fear of flying ... sad day for America and sad day for our youth to have such a vivid recollection of 9 years ago today ... May God Bless America and you too, OS! for serving and protecting our country! Godspeed! Hearts ... FC

Sad? Indeed....but the real sadness is the lack of American insight the tragedy produced. What if anything did we actually learn from the event or did 911 expose who and what our culture has become?

The chronic denial of our footprints in the middle east that create backlash and our stupid relationship with Israel just to mention two reasons they hate us.

As usual there's no shortage of those who are willing to exploit 911 for profit and power but no deep thoughts about how vulnerable and common we look as a nation.

I'm always reminded of how awful 911 was but I never hear anyone answering why 911 happened. Bush said it was because they hate us for our freedoms, which is shear horseshit and a glaring example of our denial as a nation.

I think the rest of the world does just fine "exposing" our flaws. I'm not going to help them.

Do you expend this much energy exposing the flaws of the middle east? Or have you always been a dipshit?
