Putting your own feelings on the back burner and thinking about the other person first. Showing them that you love them, by sending cards and telling them often that you love them. No matter how old they are, telling them your concerns for their safety. By being honest with the person you love and if you did wrong, tell them your sorry. If the other person did something nice for their love, remember to tell them thank you..

Let me see if I remember the movie Love Story. Oh yes, in that movie there was a line that said; "Love means never having to say your sorry" Sorry I couldn't resist.

When you do something wrong to the person that you love, you should always say your sorry.

love means you can watch somebody vomit and take a monster dump, and still think they're the hottest thing you've ever seen...and you actually tell them that.
love is when you straighten each other's hair, and pick lint off of each other's clothes, and neither of you minds...love is offering to change the baby's diaper, then also volunteering to wash the blanket she just pooped on...

There's loyality, too. If you can't be faithful tell the person, that you claim to love.

I think that love is waking up to a person everyday.. and adoring all of their qualities.. the good as well as the bad.. it's spending time with them, and not having to say a word, but yet your heart still sings..

Its when your heart meets anothers and your hearts begin to beat to the same rhythem, that never changes....

love is a tingly feeling that starts at your heart, sends chills down your back, weakens your knees, gives you goosebumps... and travels on into the other persons heart....

I am not good at wording things.. but its exactly how i am feeling at this moment..

it's when you look into anothers eyes, and dont have to say a word, and they just make you feel better.. because they are there....

but yet, im still stuck in the fairy tale.. I just got out of a relationship that started as a fairy tale and ended as a horror flick..

But Love stands time.. that is the key factor

And if it doesnt stand time.. then it still might have been love.. but love that didnt last

You don't have to live with someone to be in love...But if, they really love you, they should make time to talk to ya..They need to show the other person that they love them.. Make the scarifices that need to be made.. Don't put the person that you claim to love on the back burner..

This movie was called Love Story. It was out in the early 1970's. It was a very sappy movie; but this is how the line went: "Love means never having to say you are sorry" You should have heard everybody crying. I usually cry rather easily; but I couldn't cry at this movie. I thought it went a little over board.

She gets most of my paycheck, and I wish I had more to give her. ;-)

To the contrary- sexual fidelity and love are two seperate issues. Love should never be based on sex, or it won't last!

Saying you're sorry is part of a little triangle which combines love and trust. If you purposely avoid saying you are sorry when you've done something wrong, then you don't trust your love to accept your apology and not use it against you somehow.

Love means never being afraid to say you're sorry.

Ryan OŽNeal was in a movie with Barbara Streistand maybe "What's up Doc?" And she repeated that line of "Being in love is never having to say you are sorry." Ryan replied: "That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard!".

Love is lucky to happen twice in a lifetime. It is like a disease. It shows up when you least expect it. There is nothing wrong about loving someone. Life is short. Embrace love when you can. Let Trolls deal with the other stuff.

LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDOURED THING;

(A beautifully expressive love song}

Love is a many splendoured thing
Its the April rose that only grows
In the early spring
Love is nature's way of giving
A reason to be living
A golden crown that makes a man a king...

Once on a high and windy hill
In the morning mist two lovers kissed
And the world stood still...
My fingers touched your silent heart
And taught it how to sing... Its true ...
Love's a many splendoured thing:
