It was a sensless tragedy that really happened. It is horrific. No one should be using it for political gain and agenda. I do support funding armed guards and training willing and vetted teachers to defend our children.

AWESOME!!!!!

Same with the "48 Hours Mysteries". The editing starts out making you think "Oh yeah! HE did it!" Then, maybe the OTHER GUY did it...

The conspirator kooks are taking this too far. It's insane to believe the government would go as far as to deliberately slaughter 20 children for the purpose of banning guns. I can understand how Mr. Rosen feels and would have done the same thing. Those kids must have been terrified beyond belief.
There's no money in banning guns. You could look at 9/11 and question whether Bush/Cheney allowed that to happen because TRILLIONS of dollars were made on that, with wars and The Patriot Act. That's obscene but, you can see the payoff. And, knowing those two...

And looking at motive, who profits from Sandy Hook? The NRA reported 100,000 new members in the month after the massacre. That's quite an influx of cash! And gun sales went INSANE!

It could follow that, NRA sponsored/trained hit squads went in and murdered those children and adults in a membership and sales drive. They IMMEDIATELY profited from this. The NRA, in fact, has offered to train the guards THEY say need to be hired to "make sure nothing like this ever happens again..."

Sounds like a mafia protection racket, doesn't it?

Because 80% were high school age and belonged to gangs.

Why is no one shocked that Chicago has the 2nd largest police force in the United States and has been useless for more than 100 years?

Why is no one shocked that the mayor has suggested that more police patrols are needed to prevent gang violence?

Why is no one shocked that Chicago led the nation in murders last year too?

Do you know where your kids are?

And I just learned about the sick NRA ad about the Obama kids released just before Obama signed the Exec. Orders today. It's an official stance, but pre-empted by some of the looney whackos posting on these threads in recent days. They must have gotten advance notice.
I think "we the people" might be at the tipping point to slap down this looney-tick lobby and the fringe element of their leadership and that part of their membership.
Rally up dudes and dudettes!!
BTW; I'm a gun owner for home defense in a rural county. That and phones and neighborly folk in this 'hood will suffice 'til the arm of the law arrive. The NRA doesn't protect me.
Thank you.

How low can the NRA GO? Using the presidents children to prove a point when all they did was make themselves look more like a jackass than they already are.

Fox News saying Obama was using the children as human shields when he was talking about Gum law yesterday.

And the most disgusting thing so bad I seriously wanted to throw up was when Rush Limblah blah blah was talking about letters sent to the Pres by children asking for gun laws and Rush that sorry SOB pretending to be crying and acting like one of these children talking to the Pres. How low can one person go? If you want to know here are your four choices.

1. The GOP.....Guns over people

2. Fox News.....has no credibility

3. NRA.....Negative, Radical, Azzclowns.

4.Rush Limblah blah blah...Pillhead, extreme radical, and a sorry excuse for a human being...

NICE!

It's amazing that these people just lost a SECOND election with the same misdirected vitriol, to the same man and they STILL think they can *win* with it! This kind of approach works well with angry trolls on Topix but, not with the majority of Americans. NRA, GOP- they just don't get it.

Sure it is and the NRA IS USING THIS FOR POLITICAL GAIN. To increase their membership so they can endorse more radical right wingers. They don't give a damn about you or me it's about the money and has nothing to do with the 2ND Amendment for them. They are just using that to get the weak and narrowminded to follow like sheeps to slaughter and increase membership....MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!!

<quoted text>Congress will do nothing. They are to afraid of being voted out of office. Obama doesn't have the authority to do anything meaningful. The reaction of liberal States is different. State control gun laws. Connecticut already bans assault rifles for what little good it did. This is all just a show to make it look like there is a way to stop a crazy person when we know the only way to reduce the killing is a good man there with a gun
Then alot of them will get voted out as they should be.

Bye Bye losers!!!

Alot of these states do and did have gun laws but with loopholes, that was the problem...

If this had to happen at all I don't think it was from the NRA or as some idiots think by the left for an agenda.
I do believe is was done from a very sick person who had no regard for life, his or anyone elses.

I get what you're saying and know why you are saying it though,
I'm sure it will go over the heads of many here.

The gaming industry cries first amendment rights to prevent any interference with their industry

The gun industry cries second amendment

The drugs seem impossible to control though I don't know if the legal ones have any particular amendment they use

I do believe that too many hours spent on the Internet is harmful because of the negative and the nature of the interaction. I think those new shows about how people are deceived and hurt on it might help.

I don't see any effective laws happening about any of it

Focusing on guns may be popular but nothing effective will come of it while it will increase the tax burden and guards in schools will be no more effective than seat belts on airplanes
