NEWS FLASH: When his employer found that he had violated client confidentiality at a PRIVATE gathering he was fired. And you can bet word has got around in the business that he is untrustworthy. He needs to find a new career field. Maybe Obama will hire him as a second string beer pourer next time he has a beer summit to smooth over some Obamagaff....

I'll bottom-line it for some of you more naive folks here. To some extent, all politicians, CONs, LIBs, INDIEs lie. To be a winning politician today is to be an accomplished liar. That some folks here think "no CONs lie"...or "no LIBs lie" is hilarious.

Some here blame the bartender for "violating client confidentiality" by filming and releasing the 47% tape, not Mitt, the 1%er elitist phony who made the statement. They appear to wish that "if only the bartender had never outed" Mitt for just being Mitt.

Like it wasn't a totally avoiadable, self-inflicted injury. So Mitt couldn't have just zipped his lip for 120 days more on how he really felt about the "lazy 47%?" "The dayum worthless takers." Hey, let's blame the bartender, not Mitt, the liar and phony.

The tape should beg the question "how many private gatherings did Mitt entertain with the dayuming 47% comments?" In the current reality, any candidate who doesn't assume everything he says can't and won't be taped and shown to the World is a naive, sad little guy.

Better luck to the polar CON-bots in '16. Consider nominating a candidate who doesn't own a dressage horse, who can keep his anger, hatred and rage toward the 47% to himself until after 11/09/16? I'd like to see a competitive REP POTUS candidate. What are the odds?

FYI: The person that outed Obama about HIS guns and Bible clinging was as reprehensible as the bartender in the Romney account. BOTH violated confidences. Romney was speaking truth to a private crowd. Much as many didn't like it he told them the hard cold political/economical facts of the matter. And he was RIGHT. Even if the clip had NOT been released it wouldn't have mattered, the 47% STILL weren't voting for Romney. THEY had a vested financial interest in Obama being re-elected...... And THEY were right.

Really sh1theel? For a measly $500,000.00 you can meet the President EVERY quarter for an "update". On what I have no idea. But you should get something for your money, access if nothing else.

Actually my family were FDR democrats. BEFORE FDR in fact. The GOP change came when LBJ sold out America with his dumbazzed Uberliberal display of entitlement program expansions. I actually voted for Carter, hoping a Southern democrat as President would help the country heal after Nixon. Boy was I wrong. As we have seen Carter turned out to be an embabassing disaster. But now I have hope(again)that my Carter vote WASN'T for the worst President we ever had. Obama is making Carter look like a MENSA Master.....

The problem with his 47% comment is the 47% also includes disabled, seniors, even many military folks. How sad is it, that military dependents often qualify for assistance? Some folks he conveniently labelled / pigeonholed are also previously hard-working, proud folks who've been unable to find jobs in the current employment environment.

You say: "the 47% STILL weren't voting for Romney." I've seen no exit polling or other empirical data to support that. So we'll never know for sure, will we? It's a losing campaign strategy to make statements, in private or public, likely to openly alienate almost half of the voters. We've confirmed that Mitt did that, haven't we?

The worst part of Mitt's 47% statement, whether right or wrong, was it also seemed to confirm all of the "Mitt's an out of touch elitist who doesn't care about John Q. Public" ads that Michelle, Newt, Rick, Ron and then Barry ran against him. I overestimated Mitt's political savvy. It was a dumb comment to make, privately, publicly, wherever

The GOP in all honesty did not have a good field of candidates running. The guy I WANTED to run said HE11 no. And I can't blame him. Mitch Daniels,Indiana Governor at the time. Funny enough he's not a politician so much as a damn good administrator/manager.

I don't think the high-rollers in attendance that night were sworn to secrecy any more than the staff was. They may even have their own copies of Mitt's speak. I'm sure that they, like Mitt, are still trying to figure out what he said that was "bad". They'll likely never get it.

Fired, really? Post a link that says he was fired - since he just recently went public with his identity. Secondly, and this is the most important part - let this be a lesson: bartenders always hear everything. Something Romney would surely know, if he drank.

Obama would never hire this guy - he's a self-proclaimed Independent.
