Amen to that... You see we who are Pro-Choice really don't want abortions as some think we want them to be rare but also safe if needed.
Pro-Choice/Pro-Life are labels people use to stake out a ploitical position. Many who claim one also harbor feelings of the other. You are Pro-Choice,I'm Pro-Life but our positions are not dissimilar. Maybe we need a new lable..... I suggest Pro-Sometimes.

True.

It's black and white on paper only, when hearts and heads, passion and morals, religion and yes politics gets involved it turns smokey gray..

The morning after pill is not a quick fix for the problem either.

Denny do you know that some woman have a period even though they are pregnant.. this is true. So how would you know until 6-8 wks later when you start having some kind of signs that you are pregnant.

I understand you're a male and probably don't understand the way some female bodies work..

<quoted text>That has been thought over. Still considering it. With my job I have duties that eat holes in a timeframe. My Field Super likes dependability so I'm on call to fill in at other posts if an officer falls ill and they can't juggle the schedule with the current post staff,in addition to being post supervisor here. Luckily I have good people close by I can have fill in for me if I'm called.
Thats why I suggested that. You don't have to train etc, just feed and love them and make sure they are safe.

I suppose you could say women are like fingerprints,no two are alike. Just similarities that are common to the gender.

Let me tell you a story thats has similarities,
I've went to horse auctions for as long as I can remember. There were always ppl there who would buy horses to send to slaughter at $1.00 a pd. Healthy fat horses. We all knew who these ppl were and we would try and bid the horses up so it wouldn't be worth it for the( killers) to bid on them.
A few yrs, back PETA closed down all the slaughter houses in the US and I thought that was great because good horse were being slaughtered for money..FOR GREED.
After this law passed the bottom fell out of the horse market. Ppl who would take their horse to sell because they couldn't feed all winter etc were stuck with these horse. They then started turning them loose on open land where on a good Sat. night ppl would get drunk and go shoot at them. Herds of horses, no water, no food, bleeding with nobody to look after them.
Which was the less of the two evils?
That is always my question when ppl are AGAINST choice.
Abortion rights or pay for these unwanted children who get abused until they're 18.
Which is the less of the two evils?
I think sometimes ppl need to take a look at the big picture..
That's awful about the horses!

I think very few people *want* to have abortions or consider it a viable form of birth control. So, it's safe to say that few pro-choice people are *for* abortion.

The thing is those that are *pro-life*(a misnomer!) tend to be against any form of contraception whatsoever. They offer no wiggle room at all. There would be scant need for abortion if contraception were available to all.

Pro-choice to me and most pro-choice folks means men and women have a right to NOT get pregnant and that right should not be infringed by the religious ramblings of others.

My brother lives in Ky and the now wild horses run there and in many states because of Peta.

Choice, Life it's all debatable just like Gun Laws, the economy etc...No real answers or solutions and to many questions unanswered..

Not at all radical for Wayne. For today's NRA, visions of an apocalyptical future sell more firearms. Not surprisingly, Wayne's masters, the firearm manufacturers, also want to sell more firearms. So Wayne waxes poetic about an imaginary scary future.

Wayne's just stirring up the gun extremists to encourage them to buy that 2nd, 3rd or 4th human killing machine firearm now, not later. I remember a time, many years ago, when the NRA responsibly encouraged firearm safety. Those were the good old days, huh?

I saw where he has a bizarre idea that Obama wants to bankrupt the country to cause the the police to go out of business. Gee, you'd think a dictator would want police around to do his bidding...But, I digress.

It seems to me that a total lack of police would be LaPierre's Utopian fantasy where every gunman/woman/child fended for themselves as no founding father ever, intended.

<quoted text>Sorry, let me give you a deserved reply. SOME on the "right" want abortions under NO circumstances. The majority think it wrong but say little since it really isn't their place to say so. One of those judge not lest you be judged thingies.... As for being on their own 5 minutes after birth,THAT canard is a lib propaganda schtick. I have NEVER heard of such a occurance. Period. We have safety nets for those circumstances. IF a woman is "on her own" it was due to 1. ignorance of assistance available, 2. Laziness to get off her azz and seek help, 3. illegal as he11,calving in America and running like a scalded azz ape to avoid getting caught fearing deportation.
Consider yourself responded to.
The five minutes after birth comment rings true. Most of the more Right-leaning folks out there appear to have very little Christian empathy for even those hard-working folks who are temporarily in need.

At the risk of seeming to be compassionate, I believe these folks, in particular, could use a temporary leg-up. Recent budgets submitted by the more Right-leaning politicians would also defund that leg-up.

Your list of 1 - 3 above doesn't appear to show Christian compassion or empathy. If I'm mistaken and you actually can distinguish between 3rd Generation slackers and hard-working folks, tell us all about it.

To compound things, they seem to think a living minimum wage is some sort of 'gimme' as well and want desperately to take that away. Obama was right when he said no one should work full time in America and live in poverty.

Rubio was hilarious! Even without the lurching for the water it was weird how he kept nervously touching his face. He's nothing refreshing in the GOP like they try to portray him as. All he did was rage against the false image of Obama that the others rage against. They may never figure out that Topix trolls and Foxhounds are NOT enough to win the presidency.

I'll look for that show about Iraq. I think there were trillion$ of reasons why they had to go to war with Iraq....

A pathetic, but true fact is this: many of our brave servicemen and servicewomen qualify for food stamps and other forms of low-income assistance. Too many of them are also underemployed or unemployed when they return from their 2nd, 5th, 8th deployment or the small business they previously owned has failed while they were serving overseas.

When my Dad returned from serving in WW II, he was treated with the dignity and respect that he deserved. Our current shabby treatment of servicemen and women and hard-working folks who are temporarily in need should be a matter of national disgrace. In most of the most recent legislation proposed, we don't seem to be capable of carving these fine folks out from the others labeled as "lazy bums, slackers, takers..."
