Spot on. 2/3rds of gun crimes are in LARGE metropolitan areas and in the inner city portions of those areas, I.e. ghetto. The majority of victims range from their teens to their early 20s and are black ... I would wager most of the killers are of the same demographic.<quoted text>
The problems surrounding gun crime in the US is not necessarily guns themselves, I just pointed out how we have guns(and there's other countries with guns too and less gun crime) but many other issues in the US such as social issues which includes poverty issues-economic issues, criminals gaining access to guns, better access to mental health care including the authorities knowing who should not have a gun, illegal immigration, criminals who shouldn't be paroled, etc..many other issues surrounding gun crime.
Of course I would agree with good gun control, but to blame guns alone and the many law abiding Americans who own guns and never commit crime is ridiculous.
Per capita, I would bet any amount that those areas tend to have less guns than rural areas too ... yet rural areas have very few gun crimes.
