Can we say hypocrite???
Denny misses a lot of points. He's not the marksman he has led himself to believe he is.

It does make one wonder who and what LaPierre is afraid of when he needs armed guards. Maybe he's figured out that guns kill and that people with guns kill.

It is not the so called "right wing extremists" robbing, raping and murdering in Chicago. Or in Los Angeles. Or in Rochester, NY. The point Mr. LaPierre very astutely made, is that elitists and their families get protection of armed guards, while all the average citizen shlubs do not get protected, they get disarmed. Rosie O'Donell has armed security, but she is a huge anti-gun zealot, and I do mean huge. Media Matters own anti-gun zealot David Brock was protected with illegal guns, using the groups funds to buy them illegally, without proper permits, carried in gun free zones, etc. You seem to have missed the whole boat. We should protect our precious children at least half as good as we protect our cash and gold, we protect that stuff with.......guns! I encourage everyone that has questions about firearms, seek out an NRA certified instructor or other highly qualified person. If you want to buy a firearm, do your research, do it legally, and get training in its use and enjoy! Some of my best memories are from sessions at the range or out in the field.

The Obama voters carrying illegal guns, knives and baseball bats are concerning to normal Americans. That is why I don't go to Chicago. Do you really think banning certain or even all firearms would prevent mass killings or murder or violent crime? Do you really want to cede that much control and our rights? What other rights will we need to give up or register them, to exercise them?
Why are the results of the blood tests of the killer, showing the chemicals in his system, being reported? Isn't it concerning that some of the powerful psychotropic drugs being prescribed to kids may be linked to violent fantasies and outbursts and the mass killing events?

I think the last polls I seen were 90 % of Americans want some form of gun control and 74% of NRA members want it.. Excluding the leadership of that org of course.

I'm not surprised at all his life has been threatened..

What's that other thread say?

That's what the polls I've seen have said. It's just a fraction of gun nuts that believe that gun control equals banning. That's just stoopid. This fraction of loons is arguing something that isn't going to happen. They don't care how foolish they look.

Chicago has a huge gang problem guns being brought in from outlining states. They just in the last week have got together and have formed a new wave of attack on the criminals/gang members.

I do agree about the drugs given to ppl especially children, hell it seems everybody knows someone who is on anti-depressants these days.. That arguement to me makes some sense.

I don't think the assault ban will pass but I do believe Universal background checks will help some.

We're never going to stop mass killings we all know that but if background checks stop just one person from getting a firearm who wants to do harm then it was worth the fight.

Did you see where another Fox News person..Dick Morris got fired.?

Palin, Dick, wow, now if they would get rid of Hannity I might take them serious..:)

It's all about ratings. Fox has an agenda but, that agenda is making as much money as possible. I think they actually do better with a democrat in the White House but, fact is they still have a business whether they are defending a GW Bush or attacking an Obama. Their niche laps it up either way.

I don't believe it to be true, but if it were, saying that Canada having it so much better than Americans is the fault of the Republican party alone is extremely short-sighted.
