The NRA has got to realize that their Topix tactics work on the simple-minded segments of society but not not the national stage. Its no secret I don't like Fox News. They lie, they embellish and they are just not credible when reporting politics and they seem to want to insight panic like Chicken Little,,the sky is fallling,,lol . As for their regular news stories I think they do a good job.

It was just nice to see someone on that channel have a backbone and stand up to Wayne Lepuke.. By the way did you see where he now has security because he's being threatened? But he flamed Obama for his daughters having security..

As far as being independent, your posts suggest otherwise. A true independent wouldn't waste their day spamming about the NRA and Fox News when they've been given a clue to who the real culprits on refusing to do anything about gun control are.

It's just INSANE to think the Obama children are the first to have SS protection! And to portray them as "elitist" because their father is the leader of the free world??? Well, DUH!!! What part of "leader of the free world are the failing to grasp"? It's a shame how much these people hate America.

Actually, no so.

A true independent isn't influenced by what others think or act upon. It doesn't mean that they wouldn't oppose Fox or the NRA. It just means that they would form thei own opinion. There are plenty of Independents that still think the NRA and Fox news are loonies.

Independents may hold a centrist viewpoint between those of major political parties. Sometimes they hold a viewpoint more extreme than any major party, or they may have a viewpoint based on issues that they do not feel that any major party addresses.

I've been following this thread a few days and am very impressed with your ideas. Looks like you have brains to go with the beauty.
At lunch, I flip back and forth between FOX and MSNBC. They have both really gone down, in my opinion. MSNBC with the UK guy is BAD! All they talk about is guns- how the US should get rid of them.
It's sad how these 'new media' just try to put out what will generate more revenue. Sensationalizing as much violence and negativity as possible.
Imagine how much negativity those old time cowboys on the range or farmer were exposed to, compared to the average couch potato today!

Something needs to be done so these children don't die in vain.. But the Right mostly and I know some of the Dems are so worried about saving the own azz in the next election I'm sure nothing will be done.

I watch alot of CNN, I know Fox and MSNBC both lean to their party of choice.

I think Fox news has much better coverage. Main stream media is a shill for Obama. NBC even edits tapes to give a false impression of events and they have been caught several times

What could have been done to protect those children other than other people being armed? Nothing could have prevented it but the loss of life could have been reduced with armed people in the school
