What a stupid thing to say..

My point, pay attention..

The NRA thinks by arming America it's going to stop these senseless shootings in reality because they want NOTHING to change it's going to get worse for the good guys.

Why can't you ppl see this?

It's going to get worse when/if only the bad guys have guns. Why can't liberals see that?

Do you honestly believe the Feds want to take away all us good guys' guns? If so, based on what? Spare the Third Reich canned reply! If you don't see huge cultural, historical and political differences between 1930s Germany and the U S today, you might not believe in the fierce independence of our people and the greatness of this country enough to want to stay here.

I'll have to go back and read my previous posts; I don't recall ever mentioning the NRA. I do not share your obvious obsessiveness over them.

I'm not a LIB, I'm a MOD, dude! You seem fairly defensive on the NRA? How long have you been an NRA member? If so, haven't you seen an increase in communications and solicitations from them, as they try to rally their members to protect the failed status quo on firearm Regs.? It will speak volumes if you choose to not reply...

Defensive? Not at all. As I pointed out to your obsessive friend, I've only mentioned the NRA to point out her (and now your) obessiveness over them.

Not a member (hell, I don't even on a gun anymore). I've heard not one word from them. I'd be completely unaware of their existence if it weren't for the obsessives on topix.

Obsessed about the NRA? Not me, bud! They've been in the news, just about daily, trying to defend and protect your and my gun rights, by keeping the Regs. just the way they are now and if you make a habit of watching the news, you've seen that. You'd "be completely unaware of their existence?" LOL Sure you would. You have a good one!

Another non-responsive reply from you? So dayum surprised! LOL My prior replied directly to yours. A guy with good reading comprehension skills and a working vocabulary would call it responsive, not obsessive.:)

Are you that narrowminded that you don't think they have access when they have the Gop in their pocket?
Really?

If you signed up with any affinity partners, you may have been put on a mailing list to solicit yur membership to the largest civil rights organization, one you are not being forced to join, but simply given the offer. Much apologies if you choose to be offended by it. The NRA is not tax exempt nor do they use any taxpayer dollars. Several of my friends that have never committed a crime, love their kids, love their pets, plow out their neighbor's driveway, give to those in need, work a job or two supporting their families(you know, good folk) are being negatively affected by the NY SAFE Law. Legally bought and peacefully owned personal property has been retroactively banned, you must now sell it out of state, destroy it or have it be confiscated. "Evil" rifles and shotguns(including that bad bad turkey gun with a pistol grip) must be sold out of state or registered(so that it can be taken away more easily later, many anti-gun zealots in office have leaked that plan already). If this law would help prevent senseless tragedies, I would jump on the bandwagon no matter who implemented it, but it does not. The 7 round magazine restriction is idiotic, a simple ploy to kill off pistol competitions and a de facto ban on most popular pistol choices in the state. If bad guys want to do bad things, they will. Box cutters and an airplane. Diesel fuel and fertilizer. Plain old gasoline. Someone devious and sick and twisted enough could probably do damage with any number of common household items.
The fact remains that gun free zones are victim zones. The KKK used gun control schemes to disarm their victims. Tyrants use it too. Tyrants parade children on stage after a tragedy like this to push their political agenda, that is sickening. Tyrants justify bypassing normal rational established legislative process to pass unjust flawed unconstitutional laws. They will promise security in trade for more and more of your rights. That does not honor the victims. How far is too far?

If you mean by tyrants you're talking about our President please get your facts straight.

The children on that stage with their( parents )ask to be there because they had sent him letters for gun control asking him to do something..

Is a shooting range a gun free zone where two men, military men were just killed..

You see you gun free zone argument is as I have said void and just an NRA talking point and nothing else to get their agenda across..

Sell more guns and ammo and memberships to make us richer...money money money...

This thread is about the children killed and whats going to happen with that if anything.

Yes we are talking NRA and GOP, Fox News because thats who fighting sensable gun laws..

Damn, can't you keep up?

It has nothing to do with obsession...just a stupid comment you're making about me.

Maybe you don't give a chit about the babies killed but I do and I'll say whatever I think and if you don't like it don't read or comment to me if you don't have the good sense to be in the debate instead of trying to flame me..

The way these zealots go on about the sanctity of guns, how long before the NRA deems itself a church and refuses to pay taxes?
