I wouldn't be afraid to put such a sign in my yard. At best, the sign would be inaccurate, but unlike you, I wouldn't be afraid to. Some folks sure do seem to live their lives in fear. I pity them.:(

Hey Denny the DA in Tx was in a parking lot a block away from the Courthouse where he was gunned down.

He had a gun, had been carrying one to work everyday because he was in fear of his life.

That good guys carrying guns didn't work for him..

The Killings in Tx a couple days ago as at a shooting range.. Snipers cut down by one of their own in a gun zone..AR'S and long rifles laying around their dead bodies..

This is my whole point Denny...These good guys packing guns in gun zones and they are dead...It really doesn't matter if it's a gun free zone or not. The bad guys could give a chit less...

Open your minds, I have a question.

Wayne Lepew and the leaders of the NRA is against Universal Gun checks because in his words all that means is Tax or Take so the NRA doesn't want the gov to know who's registered.

I've had guns in my name for yrs. In the last couple weeks I have got several apps in the mail for me to join the NRA and I have 3 phone calls right now on my answering machine from the NRA.

Tell me how they got my name if they didn't look in a database somewhere? The very thing they are against they are doing.

I know you are going to say this is random but....

I contacted friends and family, gun owners, some registered like me some not..most of us have a couple firearms not registered. And the only ones of my friends and family who are getting calls and apps in the mail are the ones of us that are registered.

Care to explain that one to me?

At least they didn't post your name and address for all of the world to see, like one left wing newspaper has done.

The NRA is having a big membership drive, using the scare tactic that the Feds want to take away your, my and everyones' sporting firearms. The NRA has pushed the "slippery slope" lie (the Feds will start by taking away certain guns and soon they'll want to take away all guns) for years now. It helps to grow their membership. They don't care that its a lie. They have access to a firearms owners database. It's no coincidence that they're chain calling you now.

The NRA does not have access to a gun owner's database. Pure poppycock.
Why was there such innaccurate and wild reporting of the tragic Sandyhook incident? Seems irresponsible. Media should report the facts, not opinions and made up suppositions. Same with those that instantly demonized the type of firearms supposedly used before the facts were known. The medical examiner was super creepy on the video, laughing and snarky, talking about the deaths of 20 children and adults like it was a a joke.
Cuomo has imposed an idiotic piece of legislation on law abiding New Yorkers, in the name of the Sandyhook victims, but the law in no way will prevent or reduce this type of crime, or any crime. It does in fact create criminals out of normal folks who are peace loving and law abiding, and makes us less safe, takes away our choices, and is very likely to cause many of us to lose our jobs.

Then why are they calling me and sending me apps when I've been a registered gun owner for yrs and I've NEVER GOT ANYTHING FROM THEM until now.?

Are you that narrowminded that you don't think they have access when they have the Gop in their pocket?

Really?

<quoted text>It's just more BS'ing from the reich. In this age of information, of course they have data bases of gun owners and what weapons they have as well as what they like for breakfast and which TV shows they prefer. The NRA whining about this makes as much sense as Michele Bachman getting all paranoid about the last Census. It's just a stunt on their part.
Of course they do thats why they have contacted all my registered friends..

The NRA is chain-calling all land lines to recruit members? Prove it. Yes, the Media should report facts. Some of them appeared to be more shoked at the murder of 20 more innocent babies than tough NRA apologists, puppets, shills, socks, todies were. After all, what's 20 more babies, if you're scared to lose your human killing machine?

Collateral damage? Necessary sacrificial lambs for a worthy cause? What does a "creepy medical examiner" have to do with the media? They probably called the last 3 or 4 mass firearm murderers "normal folks who are peace loving and law abiding" until 60 seconds before they slid in that magazine and exercised "their 2nd Amendment rights."

I have little faith in my fellow firearm owners to act lawfully, when we give them ready access to a human killing machine. The World is chock-full of extremists, many of whom I do not trust with extended magazines. It sounds like you do. Its like you actually believe you and yours couldn't become the target of the next firearm extremists.

All the good guys had guns but the bad guy won...

This is going to happen again and again with rookies carrying guns..
