maybe its a mother and young daughter holding hands.

whatever, but u don't need a "couple" anyway to raise a child, one person can do a great job too, male or female.

I love the last line... "So, a final draft: happy Mothers’ Day, moms. We are grateful to, and love, you all."

Beautiful sentiment.

A question if I may.

In a male gay household, if one of the men takes on the motherly role, would that male be entitled to receive Mothers Day sentiments?

In a heterosexual household if the man takes on the role of stay at home, does HE get a Mother's Day card??

Thinking that in a man-man relationship ONE of them must be the woman just shows your ignorance on the subject. I am a MAN, I am attracted to MEN. Yes, it's that simple. Get it???

The best way it was explained that I've seen came from Ellen Degeneres.

It's like looking at a pair of chopsticks and asking, "which one is the fork"?

The operative word in my question is "if", far from "must".

Please re-read the question, and then apologize for your oversight.

Have a nice day.

Depends. Does he act like a father or a mother?
