An independent investigation by the San Francisco Zoo suggests that the deer may have taunted the man, so the man had no choice but to assault the deer. Apparently the man stalked the deer for three-hundred yards and finally caught the deer at a bed and breakfast. Two other deer were there but got away.

To completely overcome the deer's taunt the man was forced to use an animal kingdom submission move. According to the zoo the man had no choice. Instinctive. Maybe the man had been taunted by deer all his life and finally snapped. San Fran Zoo people are so smart.
