Sigh, sticking babies in boxes is not an abortion.
The Law is based on the power of words.. unless all those babies miscarried, it would be homicide.

And do you really think there aren't laws regulating the "storage" of the dead, even then.
I'm not sure what world the mind behind this was in.

To bad they'll probably plea bargin with her and give her life w/out parole, so they can bleed money to keep her up for the next 50 years. They should gas her as$!!

Given the costs of appeals associated with the death penalty, it is cheaper to keep her in jail for the rest of her life.

The pity is that either way, the taxpayers foot the bill.

So, you think they should just let her go and say fk it, they were just babies? I personally would have shot the b!tc# on site, and wouldn't been out nothing but the cost of a bullet. which is all she deserves..

This would certainly hurt any future run for President by Huntsman...except she didn't, after all, seek any abortion. So that's a plus for the R. base.

(If they are the estranged husband's kids, how could he not have been aware of six repeated pregnancies of his followed by...no kids to be found? Claiming she told him they were aborted doesn't make sense because she carried them to term, and everyone knows you don't abortions in the eighth and one half month.)

How far up your ass did you have to reach to find that conclusion in my comment?

But if a doctor had done this, nobody would be getting charged.

Not far, just the Pity for Pity. I think they should have a 5 year max on Appeals. I agree with you, it's a Pity, no one wins. They drag out Death Sentences way to long.

Oh course that's crazy through and through, because whatever you "think" about things the law very clearly distinguishes between a fetus in the first trimester and a child who has already been born. A doctor killing six newborns and illegally disposing of a stillbirth would be charged just as severely.

Of course you read the article, you know what I say about the law is true, but you "pretend" not to understand in order to make your non point, unrelated point.

BTW, there are sincere, decent, far left wing people who don't like abortion. One example would be Martin Sheen, a longtime peace and justice demonstrator, who also opposes abortion.

Because I think women have "at least some rights" over their own bodies I support a woman's right to choose as under the law...but with better sex ed and easier birth control access we could vastly reduce the number of these troubling, expensive, essentially elective operations, i.e., abortions.

Although it might not state this in the article, you would have to assume she opposes abortion on religous grounds?

I don't think NARAL makes it a practice to mention any moral issues arising from abortion at all. When Mario Cuomo did so it was considered risky.

"At least some rights" highlights and mocks how the sick, fundie right expressly in the debate negates the existence of the woman's body entirely. You never hear them talk about the woman. Only about the fetus, which they confuse with a person.

I can see you're going to be no fun to post back and forth with.

I think the woman has every right to choose. I am sure she gets no pleasure out of that heinous act. There are so many factors that would drive a woman to abort like that. Truly traumatizing for her, I am sure. One can only support her in that decision if done out of necessity and not abused as just another way of discarding an unwanted child. I do think life begins at conception, but terminating an early unwanted pregnancy, is better than having 6 and throwing them in a shoe box..
