Well, hopefully they will be willing to work with her and it will all work out for the best for you and your family. It sounds like you guys are good at thinking it all out though, with one of you always being around for the kids. It's a scary world and we never know how others may treat or rather mistreat them.
About the daycare thing....the only time mine have been was for preschool at the church we went to at that time and only for 3 days a week. Now when school is out they are with me when I do go to work. If not they might want to go to a friends house or a relatives house for the day. They are the type of kid when they do go with me to work I hear oh! I thought they were going to be with you today!:( When school starts work is a little lonely for awhile and home also.......

My wife got up everyday with them for school until she started working last summer. Now I share some of the load. She works nights too and isn't home in the morning a lot of days when it is time for them to get on the bus.
I'm trying to talk her into quitting her job, tho or at least cutting back. She's going to talk to her supervisor.
To be honest I have never not worked. I would go crazy if I didn't! I cut back last year and that totally put me off balance. I need to keep busy all of the time and for me being at home all of the time would not cut it. Even though at times my husband has said I wish you were home all of the time. He then see's how important for me to do what I do is and to the people I do it for!

Have a good one!

I can't figure out what my wife wants to do. She complains about how hard it is trying to juggle everything. In response, I tell her well then quit, but she doesn't do it. I think she just needs to vent sometimes. We'll see if she talks to her supervisor.

I've worked more than not, but my parents and his live close by, so they were always in safe hands. But to be honest the money I brought in wasn't enough to be worth it, so I stay home now, which works out great with it being summer. I gotta be honest though, even with them home, it does get lonely and boring, but definitely more so during the school year. My husband works A LOT and when he is home he's tired from working. I am extremely good at staying on top of everything that needs doing around the house and cook good meals, work out daily, play with the kids, try to indulge in hobbies, run errands, take care of the yard, but I do miss the adult interaction and just feeling useful. I don't know why but despite all I do it seems that people look down on stay at home moms. Also, I was in no way slamming people who work, just in case it came of that way. I am a very live and let live kind of person. I think that everyone needs to do what is best for them and their family. You seem like a good person, Sally Brown and I hope you always stay how you come across, always in a good mood and never failing to speak your mind. You have a good one.

Thank you! But just remember one thing I am human and yes I do to have my moments!

Stay at home moms, no I don't see it like some.....look down on them NO! Around here they are the driving force at the local schools. They are the one's who volunteer at the school 110 percent! They have the wiring to do that! I don't I just help out when I can...
Also the stay at home moms are my eyes and ears for my child/children when they think I don't know what's going on....... But also the way I do things with my work I am kind of in he wedge of stay at home mom and work mom!

There are people who would not dream of taking their kids to work even if they could. Sad :(

I bet she feels bad for wanting to stay home while you have to go to work. But also feels bad because she wants to keep working kind of but then again feels bad because your kids would not have her at home. There are a lot of emotions going on when it comes to a decision like that. I cut back because something happed and I felt like if I weren't working so much I might have caught it earlier. Not true but that's how I felt at the time......since then I keep getting calls to do more and more. Now I tell them only this and can't go over that in days and workload.

OH, she very much feels that the boys need their mother around more. I know that for sure.

Thank you so much for your input, Sally Brown. I always appreciate it. You've got a mind of your own for sure, but I for one always see reasoning with your line of thinking. And, yes, we are all only human.
