On that note I know how you feel. Because even on my days off or working at home for work........I still have to get up and get everyone ready for school/work & get the Chickies going for the day!!! ahhhhhh

When school is out and I am on an off work day then I can sleep in a little! Then chores at home are due....blahhhh

My wife got up everyday with them for school until she started working last summer. Now I share some of the load. She works nights too and isn't home in the morning a lot of days when it is time for them to get on the bus.

I'm trying to talk her into quitting her job, tho or at least cutting back. She's going to talk to her supervisor.

Sometimes it makes more sense for us moms to stay home. I love that I get to take my kids to school and pick them up, and now with summer break right around the corner it would be hard. If I send them to daycare I don't know how they are being treated and end up not making money because it would all go to daycare. This is just an opinion though, I know everyone has different situations that require different things. I'm lucky that he he makes good money and I pretty much do everything that needs doing around the house, that way I feel that I'm holding my own. Good luck, and I hope whatever you guys decide works for you.

She works at night. So someone is always home and it's not too bad when they are in school cause she can rest then, but with the summer, it's going to be too hard and the intent was never for her to work full time for long. One or two days a week.

She took a full time job just to get her foot in the door and then was going to switch to a position where she could pick the number of hours she wanted to work and when (to fill in for folks)... the thing is she had to wait 6 months to transfer, but none of those positions were open after her 6 months and it's been already a few months since she could have transferred.

She liked being off all last week and doesn't want to go back. I told her just quit and something part time will eventually come up either where she is at or some other place. They love her there and I am willing to bet they will do anything to keep her ... including cutting down on her hours. If not, she doesn't have to work.

Well, hopefully they will be willing to work with her and it will all work out for the best for you and your family. It sounds like you guys are good at thinking it all out though, with one of you always being around for the kids. It's a scary world and we never know how others may treat or rather mistreat them.
