I've seen small women dressing just as skanky. Who knows why? I put that link up just for the fun of it.
I did get the humor of it. You succeeded in your intent here.

I will have to strongly disagree with you here! FBCO, now you are stepping into my former field of work. I worked extensively with pedophiles and survivors of those molested. I don't know where you are getting your info or if you are just going by what you think, but your thinking is outdated. I know back in the 70's when rapes were finally coming out because the girls/few boys were coming forward, some of the rapists actually did win with this argument. Coming from the beach area where girls walk the strand in bikini, this was their argument. Try that now, it won't work! Little children are not molested because of their attire, they are molested because the man is a sick pedophile and because children are easy targets. Almost all the children I've spoken with were threatened that the pedophile would hurt their family in some way or they were made to feel like it was their fault or that they were bad, they were shamed into repeat performances by the pedophile.
Most children abducted and molested in the middle of the night are in their PJ's not some type of baby doll silk nighty but two piece covering from their feet to their necks. Children that are abducted and molested walking home from school are completely dresses in school clothes/uniforms. I'm not even going to get into the ones abducted and murdered by these freaks of nature.
I was once a 911 operator. My last call and one that I still have nightmares about was a man that raped his girlfriends 18 mo baby girl. Do you think it's because the baby was only in a diaper? NO, he was a sick MotherFu@#er! Anyways, he called 911 and said, "My baby isn't breathing", I asked, "where is she"? He said, "in the bathtub", I said, "get her out, did she drown"? Well after all that,(and giving him CPR instructions) the responding officer came back to the call center and told me, "you know that call you took re: the baby girl", I said, "Yes, what happened", and what he told me would make a grown man cry. He said that the man had vaginally and anally raped the baby and when she was bleeding and screaming he put her in the tub to clean her and she was screaming louder because the water was burning her so he put his hand over her mouth and nose until she no longer cried. It got more graphic but those are things that people like you and the others aren't aware of. 0-12 and sometimes older don't have a choice of what happens to them. They are being taught at that age to have respect for their elders (trust) And this isn't always a good thing.
First, I never said skimpy clothing is an excuse for rape. Second, why children are taken in the night, it is because this is the most opportune time for a kidnapper to take a child without being identified. The original stimulus could well have been seeing that child during the day in something skimpy. Pedophiles do seem to prefer children's pictures of scantily clothed or naked children. Political correctness notwithstanding, one cannot divorce the skimpy attire from the problem of child molestation.

OK, I'm going to have to ask you where you are getting your opinion from? I'm getting mine from hands on experience and being trained in this field. My facts are backed up by Psychiatrists, Psychologist and the Criminal Justice System. Are you saying a child (0-2) running around in a diaper is a turn on for an adult male?

Did you know that most children taken in the middle of the night don't return home alive? You keep referring to skimpy clothing as a part of this and it's not. Maybe when they see older girls/women (16 and up) dressed this way, they can use it for an excuse but that's NOT the way a pedophile works. It isn't about the clothes but more about the sickness of the pedophile. Again I say, pedophilia can't be cured. Just put those bastuurds behind bars for the rest of their sorry azzed lives.

Rather bthan repeat myself further, I will make one last comment. I have read and also watched things on television explaining how a man's sexual appetite is whetted. I do know that men and women are wired differently when it comes to sexuality. I have also read that power is not the only consideration as a motivation for rape and not nearly all rapes are by serial rapists. I am also aware that there is dissent among many experts about the subject of rape as a whole. I have yet to see anything that proves skimpy attire never has anything to do with sexual assaults. I will end my participation on this thread lest it lead to any more hard feelings. I hope you will not take my dissent personally. I am sincerely concerned about children being unnecessarily put in harm's way while not questioning your sincerity in what you believe. Should we continue to take chances with their safety?

<quoted text>These are exceptional cases cherry picked to make a lame attempt to prove your point. There are some men perverted to the point that they just don't care as long as it has a vagina. The fact is that a man's sex drive id fueled by viewing a woman's curves and the more hourglass-like figure she has, the more the man will be aroused. Showing more skin only enhances the effect. Go back and retake Sexuality 101. Are you also aware that kiddie porn usually consists of naked or near naked children. Men will generally choose to look at scantilly clad children over fully clothed children.
Men--or women--that are SICK will view children period. "they enticed me" "she was asking for it" "he wanted me too" <shakes head at catowner sadly> All I can say is, I am glad that no one in your family has ever been sexually abused.

men--apparently--are unable to control themselves, as they are attracted to a woman's curves and figure. Pedophiles are attracted to nearly nude children. Therefore, if a woman wears skimpy clothing, she is asking for rape. If children are wearing skimpy clothing, they are asking to be abused.

And as far as I am able to tell from this thread. There is NO rape or sexual abuse in countries where Burkas are mandatory......
