Yeah, I think we can start spring cleaning early...open the windows and enjoy the weather. It was warm enough last week that I could smell the beach from our house.

Where I live, you can feed them by hand if you're patient enough to let them work their way up to you. I had one climb up my pant leg to get a peanut, before.

We have about 7in on the ground and another
3in forecast for today.
I took some birdseed out for these tiny little
birds that hang around.
I looked out just now and a big red Cardinal was
sitting right in the middle of it running off
the little birds. lol
Nice post.

We have one living in a walnut tree
in the back yard.
During the summer I can sit at the
dinning room table and watch him run
around the back yard.
It's so funny. He runs around digging
holes and burying something...I assume
the nuts from the tree.
I never knew they buried their food.
I keep wondering how they find it
during the winter...do they make a treasure
map? lol

I've wondered the same thing. I think they just bury so many that they're bound to find one when they dig in a random spot.

My dogs have good intentions of catching yard critters but they're almost always too slow.
