Precious!

Not this:
"The city's Recreation and Park Department got wind of the door and removed it only to replace it with a second door soon after. The door will have to go permanently, as fixtures to trees like hinges cause damage, according to park officials."

Bullsh1t.
Those tiny 4 screws are not going to kill that tree any sooner than the Deep Hole the door covers.
What a mess.

No wonder people have no wondering magic in their hearts this day and age.

(Sad sigh)

You can walk around town with your wang hanging out, but hang a teensy door on a tree? No way, that's gotta go!!

What a magical image that tiny door is! I think it's fabulous and creates all sorts of wonderful opportunities for the imagination to build such entertaining stories. And I think it ought to be allowed to remain. Those hinges could be coated with something that wouldn't harm the wood. Come on....give creation a chance to flourish for a change! Granted some rules and laws are necessary...but for the most part what they've done, on average, is dry up our world and make it bland and blah. Hooray for originality!

Should have put a little sidewalk in front of the door.
