*Stop importing good and make them ourselves.
*Give jobs to American's first.
*Companies that manufacture outside the US for the sole purpose of cheap labor, let them sell elsewhere, not the US.

"Government does NOT create jobs."

If they do, that's dreaded 'socialism' or- worse-'communism'!

But, some folks (let's call them, "republicans") believe that it is (only) a democratic president's job to create jobs. A republican candidate can PROMISE to create jobs but, that's with the understanding that government doesn't actually create jobs, yada-effing-yada...lather, rinse, repeat...

Funny.
The unions here have made the price of doing business here extremely high. There is no way the cost of making a steel beam here should cost 3 to 4 times higher than importing one. Common sense doesn't seem so common in business decisions. As long as the unions keep driving up health care, wages, and other benefits, this country will never get back on it's feet.

They may not create jobs, but they sure do get rid of jobs quick. Thank you, Obamacare.

Any additional costs plus the uncertainty of the economical future and the fact government does not have a budget to go by or any idea how much Obamacare is going to end up costing not counting the additioanl revenues that will be added as taxes to business would be cause enough for any business to withdraw from the American market.
If it's not going to make money you don't do it-
something "OUR" government doesn't understand, all they know how to do is spend it!
Give this economy some guidelines and guarantees and watch it grow!

The federal government can and should come into play. Make a tax so it cost as much or more for imports, that way our companies aren't at a disadvantage.
Common sense.

Just wait and see .....

""The new health care law will impose new compliance regulations, employer mandate taxes, and numerous indirect costs on small- and medium-size companies. For Scott Womack, the owner of a dozen IHOP restaurants in Indiana and Ohio, these are obstacles that will likely prevent him from expanding his business and hiring new employees.""

Families should have complete control of their health care dollars and decisions. Obamacare reduces choice by expanding government-controlled health care, placing a heavy cost on future generations of taxpayers.
Nearly one-quarter of all seniors rely on Medicare Advantage. Obamacare makes such deep cuts to that program that half of those covered will no longer be able to keep the coverage they have.

Ohhh ohhh...there's a new tariff in town..!...lol

Actually that has and is still being done, but it doesn't fix the problems. There is a ton of reading and math with that system, it is worth checking out..

IMHO...the Govt needs to step out of the way of capitalism to a degree that allows the mixed market to work. The largest problems with issues in this country now are the monies being spent on programs that are complete failures. Way more then I want to go into here. The true cause of the largest problem we face is the amount of people there are now. That is where the fix must start. It is really simple mathematics. It may also be too late to correct.

You're not very good at this. Unlike the "Sam" character, at least you try.

I don't have facts, I have opinions. LOT'S of opinions, lol.
First, IMO, is that American jobs should go to AMERICANS. If no LEGAL American wants the job, then give it to a legal alien. Any company caught with illegal people working for them needs to have a hefty fine. We have so many illegals working here and living off of our dime .... ridiculous!
Don't most counties have a time limit on work visa's?

And thank you for not being a "donkey" when discussing politics. My opinion differs from some and MOST people can talk about it without becoming a jerk.
I appreciate you.

Of course I have. I hear people lie all the time. Are you so foolish as to believe everything you hear?

I hope your other 40,000+ posts were better than that one...

It's not a rock that he hides under. But that is another story.
