Major problem is that teachers tolerate bullying in schools, especially when they practice favoritism and the like.

Jocks get the preference over other students. Pretty girls get preference over average girls and so on.

There has to be changes made in regards to this. Some schools are even having security guards to help teachers keep an eye on incidents like these.

In this city the Jr high and high school have resource officers. They are actual city police. This doesn't help because they were probably bullies when they were in school too. There is supposed to be a zero tolerance policy. That is not true they just ignore everything. It is quite sad but you can't call and complain because that would only make things worse. I explain to my son that most kids are bullied and it is because the bully is trying to hide his own insecurities by pointing out yours. I know he really doesn't believe this because I didn't when I was growing up,but now as an adult I can look back and see it. I was one of six children and my parents owned our home. We did not were expensive clothes so we were picked on for being poor. I now realize that the kids who did this lived in the projects. When I realized that as an adult I was shocked. I actually grew up in the middle class and THEY were poor. It is really funny how much it bothered me and then to find out the truth. Puberty makes them all extra sensitive so what seems so little to us is such a big deal to them.

Good points. Yes, many police officers were indeed bullies themselves. Many didn't get good marks in High School so they couldn't get into University, so they decide to become cops in order to regain their authority status. They use this to cover the insecurities of their lives.

bullying in the school system is epidemic.. most officials hide from it, or single out nonsense, and call it bullying..

What will happen if you call out the jocks for raping a younger kid on the school bus,, every day for weeks...? happened around here...what happens is , you lose your star athletes, prom queens, stars,, and your school doesnt excel..officials make wrong choices every day for the their systems greater good,, not the victims...

That explains cop attitudes. They should take physch test in order to be cops.

It's OK as long as it isn't me or my friends being bullied.
