The list of ingredients were probably based on his intelligence.

Why does he care what others eat? Is it true what someone said that everyone who cares in the least what people who are not related to them eat are usually certain unsavory things?

I think the best way to fix this Nazi is to create a cake the diameter of a city block with his image on it. Or make an edible statue of him.

A 36000 calorie cupcake is not a cupcake; it is a cake, and lots of cakes >36000 cals.
Bloomberg, rightly so, is drawing attention to our country's obsession with poor nutrition and over eating.
This malady takes parents away from their children, significantly reduces quality of life, and economically costs us the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
I totally agree that we, the people, have the right to eat whatever, and however much we want.
Bloomberg's point, I think, is that doing so while understanding the consequences is one thing: Most, or at least many of us, really don't.

I think Bloomberg would only be happy about our eating habits if they led to us being able to satisfy Sheryl Crow's vision of 'one sheet of toilet paper'.

It is remarkable how, when people get wealthy they get really weird ideas about telling the rest of us how to live our lives.

To draw attention to a problem is admirable, and may help to generate attention. This is all well and good, but to force this upon people is excessive and an abuse of power. To make matters worse, Bloomberg is a douchebag. But thumbs up on your comment.

What's the difference between a politician stating his case about fatty foods and a fatty foods' restaurant owner stating his political views?

The Conservaturds need to make upn their collective hypocrital minds - either it's ok or it's not ok.

What does Chic-fila have to do with a cupcake?
just kidding...
the problem we are facing is, the American people, regardless of their opinin, belief is being silenced by those who have power, place, and a microphone at the ready... regardless if it is politician or the big chiken at the chic-fila..
The american "man" needs to rise up and implement more sit ins...
or like back in the day when the truckers pulled over to the side of the road and refused to move,, that was the american people...NOT the squeaky wheel....
while we sleep and make our car payment...the rest of em are calling the shots..
and Im Still hungry for a cupcake :)

Uuuuh, maybe that Mayor Blumeberg has a history of outlawing things on a whim, while a restaurant owner can't.........

Same difference - politicians should stick to politics and poisoning America and fast-food idiots should stick to what they know best - poisoning America.

The difference is that restaraunt owners are in no position to force the public to adhere to their views, while idiots like Bloomberg are.

What he can't understand is that a "cupcake" this big isn't eaten by an individual at one sitting? That is enough for a snack for at least 180 people at 200 calories each.

It could be divided up and served at a homeless shelter. They would likely be hungry enough to where it would not significantly add to their health risk. If you are starving, about any food is better than nothing.

Doctors will tell you that in young starving children, if you must choose between giving them calories or vitamins, to go for the calories. Ideally, you would give them both, and in the right amounts.

The funniest part is that they call this a cupcake. Check out the ingredients and tell me this was meant to be eaten by one person....12 pounds of sugar---4 pounds of flour,5 pounds of butter, 12 pounds of butter, 24 eggs, 6 cups of cocoa, and 2 cups of milk. Thats a nearly 40 pound "Cupcake"
