A family member (male) seems to think so. He believes that is why so many men out there today are bums, and allow the women they are in a relationship with to do all the work. At home, and in society. He believes that many men have been emasculated from women's demmands for equal rights, and therefor they are happy to just sit back, and let their women do everything.

Maybe he was already a lazy bum and this is his latest best excuse? Or maybe he has met up with too many women that want to boss men around, who knows.

If a man feels emasculated b/c women got
a FEW rights then he's not much of a man at all.

There's something wrong with this? Sometimes it's nice when my women do all the work.

If your male family member can work, wasn't born a trust fund baby and relies on the woman in his life to carry him, he's making excuses for his own lazy, slacking ways. Any able guy who sits back and lets his woman do everything is a shameless bum and a low-life user. If he had any self-respect, he wouldn't be able to look himself in the face when he shaved.

They did a study and in the oh so near future women will be the bread winners of the family as many are already taking over the corporate world and running fortune 500 companies. It takes a strong secure man to handle that as men in the past have always made the most money.

I know situations where the wife works and the husband stays home and is the domestic engineer of the house and thats cool if thats what they decide. Because she can make better money or her insurance is better or maybe for medical reasons this does happen.

But a man who sits back, does nothing and lets a woman support him just because is not much of a man, has no dignity or no pride in himself.

We call these men LOSERS!!:)

Just to clarify..i am not married..to a bum or involved with any men who does not work...weather he has money or not.!nd, for the record..my familt member is a very hard worker, and has been his whole life. We were just having the discussion one day. I do not agree with his view. But, he seems convinced.

And he's not alone, many men feel this way, I'm surrounded by men with my Real Estate business, 5 brothers and 3 sons and being involved with the horse world so I hear the talk and a mans veiwpoint on many things.

Many men feel we as women get a head because we are women when it's really just the opposite we have to work twice as hard to gain the respect that men are just naturally given.

I as a woman in business don't feel entitled to anything I haven't busted my ass for. And for that I've earned and deserve respect.
It's not about making men feel bad or making them feel weak somehow as I'm a lover of men.:)
But I don't want to be treated as a second class citizen either because I was born A female.
There's opportunity for all male or female, if you're family member feels this way it's his own insecurities that drive his opinions of wowmen.

Just saying...

I for one am no lazy bum! i work 40 + hours a week go home, do laundry, take care of my 17month old, help my 11 year old with home work, take care of the yard work as well as other domestic chores. I have seen guys who think all they have to do is work and nothing at the house. It saddens me when I see this and could never do that to my partner. My mom instilled in me, along time ago, to always help if there is something that needs done. I always try and do my best! I would rather die then sit back and do nothing!

All my life I have made about twice as much money as my wife. Now after her many years at the same company she is making some very serious money and makes more than I do. That is fine by both of us :)
