Simple solution - don't patronize BP stations.

Problem solved, move on.

According to Justice Department officials,$1.3 billion of the $4 billion fine will go to the government,
nearly $2.4 billion will go to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation

Actually, they did take responsibility for the damage to the Gulf Coast. This was a fine to pay for the clean up efforts. I'm not in any way defending the efforts of any oil company, but the root cause of this spill is our extreme thirst for oil.

I've got a solution to the problem though - stop using gasoline.

Problem solved, move on.

According to Justice Department officials,$1.3 billion of the $4 billion fine will go to the government, for Michelles traveling expenses.
The other $333,500,000 is coming from the tax payers.

PS: so 'i' stretched it a "hair" - you get the idea!

PSssssst!

If BP's prices are high, the rest will be high as well. The current administration doesn't appear to give a flying f**k about the working "class". Maybe we should all just run guns into Mexico?

Pssssst...it's supply and demand that drives the cost of gas prices up, not the administration. Get off your ass and peddle to work for a change.

Don't ask questions to which you can't accept the answers.

Have you tried Afghanastan? I hear the camels are really cheap over there.

When BP's environmental disaster was ongoing, the tools they used to try to clean up their mess were virtually identical to those used on oil spills 40+ years ago. This sad fact speaks volumes, to those who pay any attention to environmental disasters.

Oil spill clean up has been such a low priority for the oil industry that over the last 40+ years, while making profits in the Trillions, they've spent ~$0 on spill Research & Development. A suspicious guy would wonder if, as an industry, they've acted irresponsibly.

If you're a typical Taurean you enjoy a steady routine, but this is one of those days when you really benefit from living in a more spontaneous way.
