Judged: 1 1 1 Actually, they did take responsibility for the damage to the Gulf Coast. This was a fine to pay for the clean up efforts. I'm not in any way defending the efforts of any oil company, but the root cause of this spill is our extreme thirst for oil. I've got a solution to the problem though - stop using gasoline. Problem solved, move on. |

Judged: 2 2 2 The other $333,500,000 is coming from the tax payers. PS: so 'i' stretched it a "hair" - you get the idea! |

Judged: 2 2 1 PSssssst! If BP's prices are high, the rest will be high as well. The current administration doesn't appear to give a flying f**k about the working "class". Maybe we should all just run guns into Mexico? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Pssssst...it's supply and demand that drives the cost of gas prices up, not the administration. Get off your ass and peddle to work for a change. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Oil spill clean up has been such a low priority for the oil industry that over the last 40+ years, while making profits in the Trillions, they've spent ~$0 on spill Research & Development. A suspicious guy would wonder if, as an industry, they've acted irresponsibly. |
