Google says it's working with authorities to address the issue

There are 6 comments on the Majic 95.9 WYNT-FM story from Sep 13, 2013, titled Google says it's working with authorities to address the issue. In it, Majic 95.9 WYNT-FM reports that:

It's always a good idea to stop after you get in a car accident, but it's an especially good idea if a) your car is bedecked with colorful Google images, identifiable logos, and a huge camera tower, and/or b) you're a horrible driver.

Google, while you are out and about fixing your stuff. Leave my comp the hell alone. Do not adjust it again. Do not take, nor add stuff to it.

If you mess with my comp again...I will go apple on you. Will also stick to yahoo, like a band aid.
Leave my comp alone.

That Google does get too big for its boots at times, lol
but are you sure it is Google?
Had a hitchhiker program a while back when I tried using Google as a browser... something calling itself Delta... looked legit like it was from Google but it wasn't.. had to completely uninstall (you can of course then reinstall another Google and hope it's OK, on the Google site.. not anything that comes up elsewhere like here especially) anything Google related to get rid of it after I spoke with someone on a forum who said to do that because he had some bad trouble from it, it even got into his online banking. I doubt it is but be careful of those settings on Google or it'll take advantage... much like a lot of other programs mind

See, Stocking, am thinking the same thing. My comp was totally reset. I sure didn't do it, so was done somehow. I have gone through some things. I noticed the adblock was gone, and my home icon was gone. Font size and page size changed. I did a complete check, but think will need to look deeper.

I understand I have over 2 or 3 thousand photos on this poor comp. But that is not what is doing it. All the photos do is give me a bit of a hiccup when moving about. Sort of slows me down.

Thank you for your help. Will check into it. I concern over having this Adblock, but is the only way I can tolerate Topix.

Check out Adobe if you use it and any Java programing.
They have a tiny notice when updating to change your settings (search, homepage, etc.) to other programs. Then they reset your Go Back
[ Restore] to that update only. Erasing your past points.
Never look away when updating any programs. Read the fine prints and watch for those tiny check marks, they pass quickly.

Now go to Settings. Find all auto update programs [software] and set to manual.
[Don't forget to push apply].
You will get warnings that your pc will miss important updates. That is bs.
Set a day once a month to check for updates if you think you need them.
Then go to the website and Choose what you need to download.
Or better yet, on less frequently used things like printing, PDF's etc. update them only when using or needed for a current project.
When ever opening a download there is a check mark that says "never allow, always allow, Always ask. Keep that -Always ask- mark checked.
Don't be lazy and your pc will stay healthy and running the way YOU want it to.
