Why, yes, why doesn't the nightly news go on for weeks about imaginary scenarios where made up people are heroes? The media is real good at airing the "news" that fits their agenda. Weeks and weeks of air time for innocents killed by depraved psychotic butchers with guns, and little to none for innocents protecting themselves with those pesky evil guns. So yes, shootings are getting more publicity than usual, because the media wh@res are trying to curry favor with POTUS.
Let us posit a scenario where a nice middle class couple are at home in their relatively safe neighborhood. The wife is watching tv and the husband is in the den, reading the latest action adventure book. The door is broken down and armed thugs enter. They attack the wife, battering her with their "assault" weapons into unconsciousness. The husband appears and proceeds to fire on the thugs with a legally owned "assault" weapon. One is killed instantly and the others receive multiple gunshots. The husband is struck, but lives. The house is riddled with gunfire, both from the occupant and the assailants. the wife dies of her injuries before the first responders can arrive. How many weeks of air time do you think this will receive, how many days, how wide spread, local, regional national or world wide.
It does not fit into the biased agenda of the media wh@res, so I suspect it will get minimal airplay and not more than regional at that.
So, yes, shootings are getting more publicity than usual, but only the ones that feed the rapacious appetite of the media wh@res and the at fit into their agenda.
Why do they only cover that in primetime TV and the movies?
