Well woop-dee dooo. When I was a kid and every thing was slippery,,,because it was frozen,,,,We'd had to put on our ice-skates and blade-it up hill for five miles to go to school. It was a relief to make it and get into the warm 38 degree one log stove class room.

Call me crazy, but I wonder if those who made the purchase decision actually walked on this type floor before giving it a thumbs-up?

This is precisely what happens when government is involved in things like this. And I'll bet you it was just one person making the decision..."Hey, that looks nice, I'll take it....and I'll need for you to drop off two thousand square feet at my house too"...wink-wink.

I wonder if the floors were slippery because of all the masticating going on there?

One of the teachers at my high school used to pop in to a class and invite the teacher to masticate with him. He sometimes got huge laughs, but more often painful groans.

Actually if you read the article, it was because of the kind of wax but on the floors. All they need to do a strip that off, and they're good to go. It had nothing to do with government buying the wrong kinds of flooring. And yes government was involved, that's who runs the schools. Local government. And as long as you're being snarky, what you think about the 23 possible lawsuits the school district is that I have now for hurting kids and others!

If we actually read the articles, this forum would be called 'Onbeat', not Offbeat.

Too bad we can not become dealers. I love the stuff and wish everyone would get it, be on it, and have a good laugh daily, if not a few times. Feels so gooooooood!

At the rate things are going out there....we better meet soon and serve this plate up, not only for our enjoyment, but world wide enlightenment. Before we all fall down.
