It's south Fl. Bug eyed,monster eyed things missing parts on beaches ISN'T that strange.
Could be just another smuggling trick? a crack head,meth head? a Navy experiment gone wrong?

In all seriousness ,I was at sea & a dead GIANT squid was sighted ,it was big enough that the U.S.N. stopped a ship so they could get photos of it,we were told it was over 50ft. amazing. Rick

It's a pretty eye. Beautiful blue color.
Do they do DNA on fishes? I think Billy and Rick are right. Have seen some giant squid in pictures on line. But my first guess was a marlin (Sword fish?) The ones I've seen mounted have that color blue on their bodies/fins.
