I have antivirus, don't recall the name, was installed 3 months ago. However, I think those ads are contracted by Topix. I called one of those ads to complain and was told its up to the website provider to where and how those ads presented on a website. That would be Topix. So as long as anyone uses the forums, Topix allows those ads to interfere. I emailed Topix about it. No reply yet. I would'nt mind the ads if it did'nt block what I'm working on. The ads go right over the comment box.

I have AVG mobile technologies. Free scan was done again this morning. I'm not using a PC, no longer have one. Do it all from a smart phone.

that is your prob , they, whom ever is giving you a free scan is trying to sell you a solution ,..... you have to delete all files connected to that vender ....

yes , you do but you got a free scan with a condition ,

get a program such as Microsoft security essentials ..... total free ... I use it had it for 7 plus years ..

use only one program more than one will only fight each other ...dump every thing you got , and install MSE it is free from microsoft ...

if you have a pre-loaded like Norton dump all and do ....MSE all security have the basic format , why so that they are universal ..all p/c usage

Is the USA a member of the United Nations ...

On Feb. 5, U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell came before the United Nations Security Council and laid out the Bush administration's case against Iraq. As a hushed chamber listened intently, Secretary Powell detailed a web of evidence against Saddam Hussein's regime.

Powell's argument could be divided into two main tracks. The first centered on the premise that Iraq had to face the penalties for having flouted numerous Security Council resolutions. "Last Nov. 8, this council passed Resolution 1441 by a unanimous vote," the secretary said. "The purpose of that resolution was to disarm Iraq of its weapons of mass destruction. Iraq had already been found guilty of material breach of its obligations, stretching back over 16 previous resolutions and 12 years."
