Hi everyone.

And what is the Silver Sneaker class entail? Walking, hiking or running? If its dancing, may I remove the sneakers?

Is it just me or has topix started slowing the slidebar to keep people on here longer?

My advice for the day is: Lay low, especially if you have fallen, because you 'can't get up' without a beeper.

One day I'll tell you the story of rolling under the house.

Rolling under the house:

We bought a new gas stove and had to connect the gas line which meant going under the house, through the crawl space to the other side of the house. My husband made two trips and there was a kink in the line and complained that his knees were killing him. I said I would go this time. The crawl space is less than 36 inches. I decided to roll to the other side. I made a couple of rolls and got a terrible pain in my chest. I rolled to my back and thought I was having a heart attack - the pain was so bad. As I lay there I started laughing to myself thinking "How are any medics going to get me out of here?"
I realized I had probably broken a rib and not my heart. I inched my way to fix the pipe and then inched back and got out.
It still makes me laugh when I think about it.

Hopefully the rib isn't still broke. Laughing would hurt!

Scrabble's good...but no more Twister. The EMT's are still using our last game as a training film.

Good idea. Us younger folks have an unfair advantage on that one.
