That sounds very good. Haven't had Chick ala in many years, and it was a favorite. I think it was Stoffers or Banquet that sold boil in the bag beef slices with gravy and chicken ala king. I don't see those in the markets any more. Ramen noodles has taken over the quick lunch or poor boys dinner now, I suppose.
Tonight our house is having pork chops with mushroom rice and something green. Spinach or Brussels sprouts most likely.

Hi. Well a long few days ,haven,t eaten much ,that has stayed down for a long time ,it "feels" like :)
Made Sunday dinner,
Beef tenderloin ,with butternut squash & carrots & brown rice
Marinated about 8 ozs of tenderloin ,in curry,garlic,onion,& Worcestershire sauce & ginger ale.
Browned in oven ,added a 1/2 of a lg. peeled cleaned butternut squash
cut in long thick strips, added baby carrots,browned more,
Preheated 2 cups of peach nectar & water ,added brown rice, added liquid, sealed & slow cooking for 1 hr. Rick
