Those peaches sound wonderful , made my mouth water!
Girl, I want to go back and buy a bushel of them.(Cost prohibitive hah) Wish I could send you some. Gave 3 to my neighbors kids (my substitute grand babes) I don't think they have ever eaten a real peach before. Enjoyed witnessing their delight as much as the fruit its self. Good night with peachy sweet dreams.:D

Hi Chickie, what is/are sauteed Pierogies ? Sounds like you had quite the variety of tastes and textures to savor.:)

A question for the thread...... I have a tiny jar of pimientos bought for some special recipe awhile back.......Any ideas or suggestions on how to use them up? For the life of me, can't remember what are they used for besides cheese and olives.

...i put a jar (usually the next bigger size) of pimientos in my English pea salad.....

can of peas...drained and rinsed
shredded/cubed cheese....you decide...whatever kind/however much you like
jar of pimientos
enuff miracle whip to hold it together...it is easy to get too much
maybe a little salt and pepper
i like some chopped onions in it, too

put it all in a big enough bowl to stir it all up....go easy on those peas...i've tried it with mayonnaise (regular and olive oil and canola oil blends) but my preference is miracle whip......this was something my Mom usta fix...poor folks groceries.....

Sounds yummy ! Do you have a recipe for your homemade meat balls ? Mine never turn out good . Thanks in advance .

We have so many tomatoes in our garden . I will try to look for recipes for them. Maybe a quiche ?

I cheated & used meatloaf recpe... I used the pkg seasoning & eggs, milk, bread crumbs...but used 1/2 lb owens pork sausage with 1 1/2 lb ground chuck...he loved...she wasn't crazy bout em but then she doesn't care much for meatloaf...

lots leftover...I didn't use all in sauce...maybe potatoes in white sauce with meatballs???
