Yum yum I want some!!That sounds wonderful, Laci Rae.
Was my turn to cook Sunday meal, I make extra crispy fried chicken, legs only. potato salad, white beans (gonna need air freshner here also),and we call it fried corn here, cut of cob seasoned, and thicken (? SPELLIN) in a skillet. Cornbread muffins. Sweet ice tea to drink. A slow cooker choc, lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Wish I could trade you a plate. I am So stuffed. Now we gonna watch some football. I love lazy Sunday afternoons, don't you?

Thick cut ribeyes on the grill and loaded backed potatoes cooked in the ground.

Yummy ! Can I come over ? That sounds so damn good !

Not sure what we will be eating yet . Maybe a breakfast food ( grill cheese and tomatoe soup ). My Man is not feeling well ...:(
Or left over stuffed bell peppers .
Lol, what made it better, is we were camping in the middle of nowhere. Food always tastes better there.

Yep, there's something about camping that just makes food better. A couple of years ago, I caught a boatload of fish and my buddy forgot the fishfry. I grabbed all the Tostidos, crunched and crushed them into cornmeal and coated the fish to fry. We ate every fish and swore it was the best fried fish we had ever eaten. We have all tried it at least twice at home. It has never been the same.

I stopped today at a place in a little town, that called itself an old fashion sweet and soda shop. Purchased one of the prettiest cupcakes I have ever seen. It is a dipped strawberry choc cupcake. I Might eat some leftovers from yesterday, may just have a cold cut sandwich. But I know I will have that cake and a cup of hot dark coffee. LOL

It will be breaded cod, with garlic, scalloped potatoes with cheese, and butter and green beans.
Have a good night. It is minus 15C here, and with wind chill -24C.
Yum! What time should I be there? Hahahaha!
I'm making stew with left over roast, potatoes and carrots. Bake some pre-made rolls and call it happiness!
