My zoo - a collection of stuffed animals.

Later a hand-me-down CB radio I used to chat with truckers on the interstate about 1/4 mile from my house. "Poor man's chat room," they called it.

And Twister!

What a cool corny song! My chats with the truckers just fun, no sad ending. Most of them were very polite knowing they were talking to a little kid, but once in awhile, oh my gosh. Someone would do the "what are you wearing" kinda stuff and get powered over by multiple other guys protecting me from the creeps.

I actually got my dad to take me to a truck stop to meet some of the friends I had made but never seen, and Dad learned about being a trucker. I went on the road with him for a whole summer and always got in trouble with Dad for talking with strangers, lol.
