Yes, I believe we need a forum on business complaints. Such as Lowe's in Mayfield. What a rip off company. How do we warn everyone? Any attorney's reading this blog? Make your money and force these companies to play by the rules. Thanks, Pat

i have a complaint. donw below the thread listings they have pictures of hot woman from around the web. when you click on them you dont see the hot woman. i want to see the hot woman.

Banfield, horrible fraudulent service when it comes to their pet insurance plan....Claiming they did all kinds of totaling $350.00, when I took my dog in for a heartworm test.
I couldn't figure out why they were continuing to take 64.00 out of my account every month. His shot's should have been paid for by now...I called the main office and found out that I was being charged for things, that I didn't ask for nor was even told about. A heartworm test is roughly 28.00, not 350.00
The advised me to speak to the manager at my vet's office and of course no return phone call, even to this day. I called my bank and reported a fraud charge and they put a block on my account so this company will not take any more funds out of my account.
My bank also gave me my 64.00 back....
So this is how Banfield makes their money with these pet plans. The scary part is, none of the charges totaling 350.00 were on my receipt.

I read a complaint the other day on my local craigslist about some folks rehoming their pet with health issues, because they could not afford it any longer, and transferring their paid-up Banfield account, through PetSmart, to the dogs new owners, which PetSmart said they could do. The new owners continued to get treatment for the dogs ailments and for some reason Banfield kept taking money out of the original owners bank account to the tune of over $600.

She said, when I took my dog in for a quick blood test to check for heart worms, they did a fecal exam, dewormed him, and a physical exam....I said, there is no way, that they did all of that. For one, I would have been told and they only took him for a couple of minutes to take some blood and brought him back to me real quick. It's takes no time for this....

She told me to call and talk to the manager at the vet and I called and had to leave a message, as I told the lady at the front desk, what I just found out and that I wasn't very happy with how they charged me 350.00 with out my knowledge, so I can continue to pay for this plan. Needless to say, I have not had a return call what so ever.... That's when I called my bank and they were so kind enough to refund 64.00 that they took out. The lady at the main Banfield Office wouldn't do anything about it or help me in the least.

She said that when you bring your pet in, that they automatically do a physical exam and charge you for it. Never has this happened before and plus, I told her that in your brochure, it says you get 2 free exams a year and I never asked for an exam in the first place, free or not. She told me that she's looking at the brochure and it doesn't say anything about 2 Free exams a year. She sounded like she was 12, so Lord knows what brochure she was looking at.

I thought, I put my trust in these people and this is what they do in order to continue their plans with people is to charge them for things and not tell them. It is a helpful plan to have if you don't have an extra 300 + dollars for shots etc, but my goodness, there should be a stopping point to, when ALL is paid.
I wonder how many other patients that have no clue what is going on and just think that this money coming out of their account is normal.

I also told them that my dog hasn't been dewormed since he was a tiny puppy, if that....who deworms a dog and for them to not tell you that he has worms to begin with. If that's even the case...

I thought Craigslist was for murderers? I don't use that site....I do like Pet Smart a lot and they will take back almost anything, without many questions....I got a Chinchilla once from them and he was having trouble Tee Teeing...I called them and they told me that I need to lay chin chin on his back and pull his pee pee back and see if there is any hair caught in it and if it is I need to cut the hair off. She said I have to do this once a month....
I thought, who on earth is going to hold his little legs still, while I cut hair out of his pee pee?
I boxed him back up and he went back to the store and he is now with another family and they can get someone to hold his little gray legs while a family member manicures his wee wee.....
