Wow Deb, it's been 4 months and sis is still doing great. She started new treatments last month and looks great. Doc keeps telling us that she is still real sick but it will prolong her life a bit more. We're grateful for whatever time we have with her!
this is great news!

I am feeling pretty good, vacation started yesterday!

I was going to post "too tired" until I saw this post.

I'm so sorry Debra. A couple years ago we lost a coworker. She had an aneurism and dropped in the middle of a meeting. For you, seeing the accident and then realizing it was someone you know is devastating. I hope you all find comfort in each other. My prayers go out to you all.

thanks for this. This is the second unexpected death in the last two months (suicide last month) and I have to say that it is very hard on the brain to process this. I am sure you went through the same, the brain totally shuts off for a while. We are finding support with each other, but it is hard!

We have gone through a few in the past year or two. Nothing can be said or done, it's simply sad. The most I get out of it is to cherish what we have, here and now. The end comes to all, nobody is immune to it.....so I believe I we should live life to its fullest. For me, experiencing death opened up my eyes to life.

Hope your heavy heart becomes lighter as time goes......

I was at a funeral a few weeks ago. The female priest said "from earth you were born, in earth you shall remain". I observed this particular quote and found it interesting and somehow fascinating.

What did she mean by that? What is the message? Thanks.
