Just kidding, carry on, but you did make me cry, I'm such a sucker for words.

Something good just happened! My dog and cat figured out how to play together! My dog held a ribbon in her mouth and ran around the house, and the cat was chasing it! That was too precious.

"A miracle each morning
when dawn in silence breaks
early sunlight shades across the sky
a city slows wakes..
and brings with it
and
sings with it...
another brand new day
and the night before
NO ONE had to say>
'I'll show you how to do it
How to make a day..'
A mystery strange ...
unfolding
far from the hands of 'man'
somewhere way...beyond the stars,
There is a greater plan..
one which ..
brings the sun to life
and switches on a power
that awakens down below
the heart of each young flower-
petals easing from their bud
and stretching out in praise
sending forth soft summer scents
above blue misty haze.
and little pink cheeked babies
in cradle fast asleep
touched by the dawn light spirits
awakened from their sleep
to play in dreamy shadows
around the early day
'cos up above
soft pillow clouds's..
where little angels play..
And ......
EVERY night like clock work..
all the stars come out
NO ONE has to dictate
'WHEN',
no need to EVER doubt
they listen to that spirit voice ..
which whispers what
'what to do'
and then there's......
Me and YOU >
We
walk
and talk
we laugh
and play
we work
...eat and sleep
LOVE and PRAY
dream a lot..
and .. sometimes
we must WEEP
and
ALL THE TIME
in every way
a tiny beating heart
keeps us going
EVERY DAY..
and has done from the start
a little clock
so FRAGILE ....
as the wrist watch on your hand..
yet can
withstand the greatest storms
coming down
WHATEVER comes to hand...
beating ever onward
maintaining..
the GIFT OF LIFE
So you ask
'ANYTHING AMAZING'?
anything 'new' to see?
It's all around us..everywhere ..
In NATURE..
in YOU
and ... ME "

Bravo! I was going to say that 'Every day above ground is a good day', but you just said it so much more eloquently and brilliantly than that!

I wake up with the perfect man every morning, perfect for me, anyway.

Everyone I love woke up this morning, all is well.

Soooo, it RAINED off and on for a couple of days; we'd had no measurable precip for almost 9 weeks in our little area of Indy. That is good on so many levels, but when part of your business includes a mowing crew, it's money falling from the sky.

I went and got the Winter job I wanted, my first choice, I start Monday.

The swimming pool company who brings us good topsoil when they dig a pool in our area, has been delivering dump trucks of it all morning; getting us closer and closer to moving the road to the back of our property line and doubling the lawn size on our back yard. FREE!

With the last of the rain last night, cool, dry air has moved in and the windows are open and the AC is off! The windchimes are all singing with the nice breeze!

I get to say Hello to all of you fine folks and read your good news!

So glad you liked my poem, PP..

In turn I really enjoyed your post,

Conscious of the different fragrances of flowers

I've been praying y'all get a break from your heatwave and drought, too. There are three new tropical waves in the Atlantic...maybe could bring rain to y'all. Oklahoma is finally getting some rain today. Hope Texas in next!
