When we were in Ely Nevada I had mentioned we met this older gentelman who had been in the Viet Nam war (we thanked him for his service), he told us of his four cats that keep the rattlesnakes away..http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=-YIPcb8jqc8XX
Well you never know I might have known him in Nam :)

|Well he gave me his email address, and I lost my wallet with it in it..otherwise all I know is his name is Mark. Said when they arrived in Nam, one of the guys got it between the eyes, and had not even stepped off of plane. Also he told us, 46 of his group went in, 4 came home. I phoned the place where we met him and gave the woman that owns the place my email,(who we chatted with for sometime with as well), she remembered us. So I hope she was able to give it to her.
Anyways, my nephew spent a lot of time in the US he is in the Department of National Defence!
When he was here he had a trunk full of guns, I guess he is going hunting when he gets to my moms. My grandson was duly impressed.

Sure did. We had a wonderful time, lots of laughs.
When we were going thru the Nevada desert, from Ely, the first summit we hit, it started raining a bit, and bf says,,awww nice to cool off a bit,,then all hell broke loose. It went from 100F -80F in a matter of seconds and hailed on us, we were just wearing tank tops, and jeans, and a sunburn,,and man I tell you hail and a sunburn hurt like hell, bf was trying to see, and I was trying to beat off the hail, it hurt, and all he could here was cussing..lol!
We kept riding, and when we got to bottom of summit, it stopped, so we pulled over and laughed our asses off. We were soaked too, but got back on the bike and dried off in like 5 minutes.
Sucks that Nevada has a helmet law, because damn it was hot.

Yep. We sure did not like Reno. Last time I was there it was not so huge, there were roads everywhere, cars, high rises, etc. Too many people.

It's an interesting place, but mostly it's a whole disconnected City. I met a lot of fun people though when I lived there. But I was never into the gambling part of it. Some areas are like the land that time forgot.

Good Tuesday morning Denny.
Howdy everyone.

Denny, the mostest wonderful thing happened yesterday.
A young man come knocking on my door.
He was tall as you and slender.
He said, Hi do you remember me?

It was JJ's best friend from elementary school. His "twin" friend.

We had a great afternoon sharing sweet memories and catching up.
I have a light heart this morning.
:-)

Wishing all y'all a great sunshiny day.
