Not as cold as I thought but tomorrow is supposed to be colder. Walked the bridges and some extra this morning...5.2 miles...getting ready for the Gate River Run...that is 9.3 miles on March 9.

Good morning Denny. I've seen a couple of times you mention how hard it is to get ammo (esp 223's), it's in the headlines today, it's even getting harder.
I really enjoy loading my own, maybe you would too?
Also, there must be someone in the State of Texas that would load some for you.
I like to load my own because I have trust issues. I weigh each load out carefully (like 63gr of IMR 4350, with a 140gr Nossler Silver Ballistic Tips for my 7mm Rem Mag- get right at 3000 fps), don't use the speed loader. If you could find someone you trust, he might like it if you got the materials for him, and he'd charge a little less. Cabelas has good deals on bullets, oh, you don't have to order things, I forget. I got started loading my own because it is about impossible to get 257 Roberts rounds for my grandpa's old gun here.

Denny Texans ..........

exercising their constitutional right

(CNN)-- The Texas prosecutor shot to death in broad daylight outside a courthouse had feared for his life and carried a gun to work, according to a Dallas attorney describing herself as his friend.

Colleen A. Dunbar told CNN that she spoke with Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse on January 24, and he told her he began carrying a gun in and out of the county courthouse on a daily basis.

I used to reload a lot. I could get the dies for .223 but the whole reason I bought one was the rounds were so cheap. I should have bought a 22-250 you can still find those.
