Hi, I am a mum of 2 who loves poetry and enjoys writing it. My poems come to me and I just type them on the spot, no sitting and thinking it is all written in the matter of 5 to 10 mins tops.Im aussie, I live in Brisbane and have started my life over after a unsuccessful 18 year marriage. My poetry usually reflects my life but I do try and be diverse.


Poems:



Lips so sweet and full of sugar
Eyes so brown and filled with love
Hands so gentle and tender to touch
Arms so wide and willing to embrace
Hair so soft and inviting to stroke
Skin so fine and perfect to kiss
Heart so big and beating for me
All the things I love about thee
The randomness of life never appears so apparent until when death strikes
Like an exhausted flame ones existence can be dulled, flicker and then be extinguished
Those who live from this heat and the warmth of ones love left cold and motionless from their loss
A vibrant body of hopes, ambition and the will to succeed reduced to a mortal shell
Called to his side, tortured family watch and wait for that final breath to be expelled
Tears of sadness trickle down the faces of all those present, then to all that knew him
He has been released from his pain, the suffering of the tormented last months he lived
Gentleman to all, friend to many, a beacon of light to his cherished family members
He will never be forgotten as his deeds in this life will not fail him into oblivion
In our hearts, in our ever-loving words and memories, Mick you will always live on
